A clip of Li Gengxi singing “Magnolia” (Tai Zhaomei) in Bi Gan’s Resurrection

This is scene is one of my favourites in cinema, but I can’t find a single clip of it anywhere. It’s perhaps my favourite scene ever, it’s such a shame that I can’t find it, the song made me emotional. Could anyone perhaps check on Chinese media? I am not familiar with things like rednote or bilibili.

Ayaka + Prune

I haven’t seen anyone else bring her up regarding Ayaka, would she work out in a freeze team? I would place her with Mona to activate hex buffs ofc, but I’m wondering who would be the best 4th slot? (I don’t have Shenhe or Kokomi.) I was thinking maybe a cryo character for cryo resonance (such as Qiqi on ToM) or perhaps another hydro character (such as Xingqiu) to help with hydro applications?

F2P Venti teammates

I’m a returning player and lost the 50 on Durin… Still, Venti seems to be my best option and I’m currently running him with:

C0R1 Venti Skyward Harp (day carved from rising winds)
C1R5 Mona TTDS (celestial gift)
C4R1 Fischl Alley Hunter (could switch for R2 Stringless) (golden troupe)
C5R1 Bennett The Alley Flash (could switch for sapwood, but Venti seems to be having more than enough ER) (Noblesse Oblige)

I don’t have Nicole, Varka, Sucrose or Faruzan, which I know are all good teammates for him.

I know Prune is pretty decent but I don’t know who I’d switch with.

Is it already good as it is?

Is it worth reading Neuromancer with the series coming up?

Hi, I’m currently on page 48/266 of the book and I have mixed opinions so far. On one hand, when things go down in the book, things are really intriguing and I’m truly captivated. On the other hand, I’m not a huge fan of William Gibson’s style of writing when it comes to describing his world. He describes many things with little to no narrative relevance and it honestly bothers me.

That’s why I’m wondering whether it’d be better to just wait for the series and move on to a different book; in the series, all descriptions of the world can be implemented as cinematography, leaves more space for the narrative.

I know the book is a classic though, so maybe I should keep going on? I’m curious about other opinions on the subject

Edit: Your comments have inspired me to keep going! Especially considering the series won’t be a 1:1 adaptation, I’ve enjoyed reading Neuromancer a bit and truth be told, your encouragement was the push I needed to keep going. I also think my issue lies with my own faulty expectations of literature rather than Neuromancer itself. I’ll keep you guys updated!
