Transmission help

Hi, I need to either buy a transmission or get mine rebuilt.

I have a 03 Silverado 2500HD 4WD, I reckon it uses the 4L80E transmission unit.

The problem:

Reverse gear is completely fucked, no reverse gear..I can hear a clanking sound when I'm driving forward. The sound stops when I stop so it's not the engine. Also I looked under the truck and seen nothing out of the ordinary.

Anyone know where I can buy one? Preferably a new rebuilt one or refurbished. I found one online but it's $5000+ which is out of my budget. I know transmissions are expensive so I'm looking around $1,000-$2,000

SOLVED: Thanks to the guy who commented Bill Burr, one quick Google search with bill and I found out the movie is "Old Dad's"

I asked chat GPT to tell me who this actor is and it says it's not allowed because it violates a privacy policy.

Do not buy Maui Jims

These Sung Glasses have been by far the worst sunglasses I've ever had as far as the build quality goes. Haven't even had these for 2 years and this will probably be the second time I have to send them in to get repaired again.

Where the temple and frames meet always break, I treat these glasses with pretty good respect, they don't get throw around or closed very hard. Sure I've got some over spray on them from painting but that's not going to effect the structural integrity of the glasses. They're just a crappy design. When I get a new pair I will find another brand. (Yes I know I overpaid for something that costs $10)
