Bed sheet Recommendations - Overwhelmed

Hey guys! I’m currently very overwhelmed looking for bedding recommendations, mainly bed sheets. My husband and I recently bought a king sized Tempurpedic mattress and cannot find a good set of bed sheets. And I’d prefer to stop spending $100 for poor quality 🤪.

* King sized bed
* Tempurpedic
* I want soft sheets. Not the “crisp” or scratchy ones.
* Struggling to find ones that will STAY on the mattress and doesn’t fall off every night… every night we have to re-pull our sheets down over the mattress.
* Prefer less than $200 for a regular sheet set. But truly closer to $100 is preferable.
* No preference between bamboo or cotton, etc. I’m simply not educated enough in which is “better” or “softer”. I don’t want flannel or something super hot is all. Preferred to be good for all seasons.

Any recommendations?

Thoughts on potential boy name

Hi! I’m 24 weeks this week and my husband and I are just starting to discuss names.

He told me he likes the name William, but doesn’t know if we could use it as there are a few William’s in his family, including his grandfather. I personally dislike more common names and prefer names that are known but not overly used. Still somewhat unique. I also dislike naming first names after people, but love middle names after someone.

I like the name Hayden, and mentioned it to him and he said he liked it.

Our last name starts with an O.

How does Hayden William O_____ sound?

Not sold on it but I like the idea and sound so far 😊

Soho Baby furniture brand??

Hey guys! Anyone have any experience with SoHo Baby?? If so, how is your experience as far as quality and set up? I can’t find a ton of reviews on the brand so unsure.

Currently looking at the Ellison collection:

https://www.sohobaby.com/collections/ellison-collection

I’ve been looking for a cute crib and dresser set online that comes in a dirty/rustic/off white coloring. Preferable for the crib to be able to convert at least to a toddler bed, with a firm back (so baby can’t mess with cords from monitor or drop stuff behind bed) and for the dresser to have a matching changing topper. Also hoping they’re decent quality but also not like crazy expensive (1.5k-2k give or take, for the two together).

It’s for my baby boy I’m pregnant with now in our medium grey room I’m hoping to do with a dinosaur theme.

If anyone has any other recommendations from other furniture sites, let me know! 🥰😊

Thanks!!

Baby Monitor Systems

Hey guys!

What are the best baby monitor systems to get? Any recommendations?

Leaning towards the Nanit Smart Baby Monitor System (it’s on sale for the Nordstrom anniversary sale! And I’d do this instead of the Owlet.) but also looking at the Harbor Baby Monitor and the CuboAI Sleep Safety bundle.

Any experience with these or recommendations are welcome!

Pain around Umbilicus

Hi! I’m 17w5d today. Lately I’ve been having right sided pain (more so discomfort or soreness, like a pulling feeling) to my right side that is increased with movement. I assume that is round ligament pain or just stretching of the uterus as it grows and shifts more towards the right side.

However, today I’ve been having constant pain around my belly button, more on the right side of it. It’s a constant pain, but still has a few sudden sharp pains that hurt worse.

I’m not sure if that’s also uterine growth, or just changes from my organs sorta shifting upwards. Or if it’s gas. Or, per Google a potential umbilical hernia.

If it doesn’t go away by this afternoon I’ll send a message to my OB but since it’s the weekend I don’t know if they’ll respond. I don’t think it’s an emergency? But I’d prefer to not go to the ER as my husband and I are currently on vacation at the beach, 6 hours from home, on a 4x4 beach (meaning you have to drive on the sand for 30+ minutes to get to the main paved road in town).

Guess I’m just hoping someone will confirm for me that this is normal and/or not something to worry about. I’m not overly worried but then low key worried I’m down playing it lol.
