Drivers' map app

Hey guys, I've made a map app with a shop rating system that drivers can contribute that's separate from Google Maps, so we can document our experience on shops by leaving ratings and comments. (Some shops are racist, rude etc)

With the new minimum wage law, we really don't have to worry much about waiting time but it would be great to know which shops have how much average wait time if we all contribute here. (for example we will still need to rush if we are on the final stage of a quest)

We can also leave pickup tips for other drivers if shops are a ghost kitchen or have difficulty in navigating them. (which floor in a multi-level mall etc)

Wow, so a Thiel fellow co-hosted the NY meetup

And she has research on children's gene editing. As well as a Thiel fellow scholar which means she definitely has some connections to Peter Thiel.

What do you guys think?

What kind of occupation in this capitalistic world can be considered as right livelihood?

I am almost finishing my degree in technology and considering getting a career in IT. I am conflicted as to if this can be considered as the right livelihood?

Knowing that it's some form of exploitation in essence, you know like a delusion of a delusion..

How are things on the ground?

Foreigner here, I am seeing news regarding possible China invasion/ intervention over Taiwan in the near future. With respect to what is happening around the world at this time, it feels like there are more chances of this happening than not.

What is everyone's perception over this?

My opinion on why Rakhine state and China is the key to winning the revolution.

Because of the US National Defence Strategy to control major sea choke points, we've already seen the Strait of Hormuz conflict (US-Iran war) & Strait of Gilbratar refugee crisis just a few days ago.

Very soon, it's predictable that the next escalation point of interest from the US will be the Strait of Malacca and ASEAN, especially to counter China.

That's also why China is propping up the junta as a de facto government and protecting the Kyaukphyu port and Arakan pipeline as a Malacca bypass in the case of a more severe energy crisis because China sees the junta, being cornered and fighting for survival, as more reliably compliant and willing to do its bidding than Arakan Army.

But on the ground, AA keeps crushing junta forces and trying to escalate outwards, while at the same time other resistance forces are now seemingly unified.

I think if the resistance especially AA, can get past a manufactured second Rohingya crisis, a DASSK-release distraction, and play its China relations carefully, the junta is utterly finished.

KFC put "Chinese Name" to one of the stacked orders

I was on the way to pick up a stacked order from KFC, one was in Chinese characters, and the staff just wrote "Chinese Name". Lol.

Drivers beware of a potential scam: HalaliRider

I have been approached by a 'marketing' person from this new Halal only delivery app to download the app, and they mentioned that they are testing out and surveying from current drivers.

Upon checking it out, the app seems extremely vibecoded and looks fake.

Right answer, guys? Pack & delivery survey from Uber

I mean, generally it's ridiculous how little the pay is for the amount of distance and effort required to complete a pack & delivery.

I deliver in Sydney CBD, and sometimes I will end up in Potts Point, and somehow Edgecliff Coles pack & delivery requests will pop, and almost all of them are shit.

Even the CBD area Coles, York Street and World square, are often shit. I no longer do Broadway Coles, all of the requests coming from it are not worth it.

But anyway, here's how I answered.
