I am trying to upload a ~500GB folder (containing another drive backup of various files) to Drime. The web interface cannot handle it (can't get beyond preparing prompt). What's the best way to get this done on a Mac?
Got my XT E-Ink X4 yesterday and was genuinely excited to start reading on it.
After a few failed attempts with the app and web transfer, I finally got cloud transfer working and loaded an EPUB. The result was awful. The font looked broken, line rendering was weird, and the whole page felt difficult to read.
I then went down the rabbit hole of converting formats. A book that was only a few hundred KB ballooned to over 150 MB using xtch. The rendering improved a bit, but the fonts and layout are still nowhere near what I'd call comfortable reading.
What surprised me even more is how unintuitive the device feels. Instead of getting lost in a book, I'm getting lost in menus and buttons. Other than the form factor, everything is thumbs down on the device.
Before I start looking at flashing third-party firmware, has anyone managed to make this thing actually pleasant to read?
A word of caution for anyone considering ordering mangoes from Sedum Mango.
My order arrived late, and incomplete. A large number of the mangoes were crushed, rotten, or overripe, and several deteriorated completely within a day. I reported the issue immediately, provided photographs and all the information requested, but communication has been extremely slow and I have not received any resolution for past 5 days.
I understand that problems can happen with any shipment. What concerns me more is their lack of responsiveness and any accountability even 5 days after the issue was reported.
Based on my experience, I would recommend looking elsewhere if reliable delivery and customer support are important to you.
I’ve run into a worrying issue with HDFC Bank’s phone banking system. For credit card inquiries, the only verification they ask for is date of birth and address. If those are provided correctly, the rep will share details of my account, including credit card transactions.
The problem is that anyone who knows me well may already know my DOB and address. That means they can impersonate me and access my private financial information without my knowledge.
I asked HDFC if there’s a way to stop or restrict phone banking, but the rep told me there’s nothing that can be done. Obviously, I can’t change my DOB or address — those are fixed and often known in some contexts.
Has anyone else faced this issue? Is there any workaround to protect my information from being disclosed just because someone knows these basic details? Can I:
* request HDFC to disable phone banking,
* add additional authentication (like OTP), or
* at least put some kind of alert on my profile?

I’m dealing with a strange situation and could use some advice.
I recently discovered that someone may have been calling my bank/credit card issuer and accessing information on my account by impersonating me.
From what I’ve been able to gather, the verification process seems to have relied on fairly basic details like my phone number, date of birth, address, etc. The problem is that those are details that someone known to me could easily have.
What I’m trying to find out is whether there is any way to get a record of these interactions and ideally some call recordings.
Has anyone here ever requested something like this from a bank? If so, were they willing to provide it?
And if they refuse, what is the best escalation route? Grievance officer, nodal officer, RBI Ombudsman, or something else?
Would appreciate any suggestions from people who’ve dealt with something similar.
