Just finished Trust by Hernan Diaz- this was 2.5 stars and before that Wedding People which I loved.
I have a problem with starting tasks when conditions aren't perfect.
Like I make plans but if I don't wake up at the exact time I planned to I say I can't do X. Or I don't cook because I didn't unload dishwasher.
This is found in all aspects but mostly when it comes to starting and keeping up with habits.
Tips to overcome this would be appreciated

What gives on the price variation? Took package to UPS they said if want to send priority it has to be box not Amazon envelope and then couldn't do insurance. So I said same package via UPS, less than 3 pounds to NJ from. DC they said 100 bucks.

Walked to FedEx same package was 20 bucks and they let me add insurance.

Background- I was hired in role for a program that was dissolved then told I wd be a program manager for a program that is a challenge for our office. I have not received a new PD and we are in process of writing new performance planning. I some times feel as if I am being set up to fail instead of succeed.
Curious if folks know that our occupancy data is monitored actively, ie received inquiry about discrepancies? Or is it just a vague overlord mailbox that we send info to.
