This is just something I was thinking about because it rains for a long time throughout the rest of episode until the scene where it finally stops raining and litten see a rainbow and what’s looks like stoutland in the form of a cloud and litten is smiling which would mean that litten got over the grief of course grief takes time.

It did look like dragonite was listening to Iris but after ash’s Krokorok evolved into krookidile and used dragon claw that’s when dragonite lose control and went on a rampage but what caused it that’s what I want to know.
