I hear the statistic "gen alpha has the lowest iq ever"

I hear this statistic a lot on social media, and how do they exactly measure it? Gen alpha are the kids born between 2010-2024(according to google), so the youngest ones are approximately 2 years old, so how are we measuring an iq of a barely developed generation?

I want my family to stop making feel like this

I'm 15m( just turned 15 around 47kg 172cm). i remember being called skinny since 7th grade in the most part by my family, I never really cared for about being skinny to be honest, I don't mind being skinny and I never even thought of it as a major insecurity.

But when someone keeps drilling it in your head, it genuinely messes with you.

I basically get called all kinds of insults associated with skinny, and I usually think "do they not understand what's coming out of their mouth", it's like they aren't trying to be bully's but they are.

But don't like socialising, not because I'm skinny, but because I'm just an introverted person, but having developed this insecurity makes it a lot worse.

I hate going swimming, at least with my family, because it's basically a 100% chance to get insulted to my face, and they've ruined swimming as a whole because all I can think about is how my body looks.

I try to eat more. I just get to the point where I think, "i don't even want to gain more weight. I don't care about even care about that other people do".

Being on vacation in a hotel is basically my hell it's summer I'm wearing shorts I just stay in the room most of the day to avoid getting bombarded with insults that are just gonna make me feel worse.

weird thing is I don't get made fun of in school like nobody insults me or comments that much on my body it rarely happens, but my family does like a lot, and it's really making me hate my body more and more and everytime they do it I just want to get more distant from them and stop talking to them.

Hot take: magic circles are extremely easy

Since I was a beginner, I have never struggled with a magic circle, and I'm not bragging. I really don't understand why it's such an infamous "beginners struggle." it's almost done the same as a slip knot

Why do you think people really struggle with it ?

The oversimplification of topics are making people think they're experts on it

People watch a 20 minute oversimplification about quantum mechanics on YouTube, and they suddenly think they're experts about the subject and can hold a conversation about it. No, you can't. These videos should be your introduction to the subject, not just the only knowledge you hold about it, why are you learning about quantum mechanics, and all these advanced stem subjects if you can't even do calculus ?

No, you're not a nerd

There was a slideshow trend on tiktok a year back on the first silde, There's the persons face with the text "you need to nerd out" and the second slide is all that persons interests and "nerdy hobbies" and people would start arguing in the comments saying: " your not a real nerd these hobbies arent nerdy" and I just wanna say the only way to know if a person is a nerd is if you they were called a nerd in school if not they are most likely not a nerd.

14 learning calc does anyone know if this books any good ?

I finished 9th grade, and i was bored during the summer, I saw a calculus book at the library it's an introduction to calculus by hugh neill I bought it like a week and 5 days ago, and I just finished the differentiation chapter, does anyone have any reviews about this book ? I looked mostly everywhere online and found nothing about it, I'm asking because my understanding felt a bit shaky, and the examples weren't that clear to me, so if anyone has tried this book out please tell me about it

And if anyone has any recommendations about learning calculus, I'm definitely open
