Increasing dose for the last 10-15lbs?

Hey everyone I’ve been on Triz since January and I’ve lost 55 pounds. I was on 3mg for one month and I’ve been on 6mg the rest of the time. I haven’t been able to exercise as much since my kids are out of school for the summer. I’m still losing weight but it’s obviously been much slower for the past month or so. I thought about increasing my dosage to 9mg for maybe a month or two to get these last 15lbs off and then going back down to 6mg. I’m not sure if it’s a smart move because I’m afraid my body will get used to the 9mg and then 6mg won’t feel effective anymore. Has anyone increased their dosage for just a month or two and went back down? I plan to jump right back into going running once my kids are back in school.

Bad storm in Northeast, lost power

Anyone experience this for more than a day with their vials? I am reading conflicting info but want to know if anyone has actually experienced having their vials in temp that wasn’t cool the for multiple days? (It’s only been 12 hours and mostly cool the whole time in the refrigerator)? Just hoping they are still effective.

For People Dosing Every 5 Days

  1. Do you guys still adhere to the recommended 4 weeks on a dose before you increase? I would guess that would be after 6 -8 shots than 4 since we are basically using 6 a month instead of 4.

  2. Has any of you went back to 7 day cycle and felt you didn’t like the every 5 day?

Go back to Microdose of Tirzepatide

So in relations to my last post, I’m currently on 5.95mg and experienced a ton of side effects and want to go back to micro dosing 1.5mg a week. I was doing every five days so basically I have had at times over 8mg in my system.

Do you think I can go right back to 1.5mg every 7 days and still see some benefits? I know a lot of the hunger suppression will be gone but I just want to be able to have the appetite under control and still keep losing weight but get rid of the anxiety and constipation and anhedonia that I was getting on higher doses.

I’m wondering if I will even get any of those benefits now that my body has adapted to higher levels in my system on 1.5mg and maybe a better approach would be to (1) def go back to every 7 days and (2) just taper down 1mg a week instead of going to 1.5mg right away. Curious to hear people’s thoughts.

Did all the wrong things

Titrated up too quickly/too often. Feeling a ton of anxiety and anhedonia along with some nausea. Worst mistake and told myself I wouldn’t do this but got impatient and was afraid if the hunger suppression and chased that. Well all this is water under the bridge. Of If I go back to 2mg a week microdose…just hoping it will still have an effect on me and I will still continue to lose weight (albeit a lot slower than I have). Let’s hope for the best!

Need some guidance!

I been on tirzepatide for 4 weeks roughly now. I started super slow at 1.7mg, then 3mg, 4.25mg, 5mg. I have a few questions bc a little confused. So basically I have been literally losing weight at an average of 3 pounds roughly a week which is fantastic but I’m more confused now on the hunger side and how to handle. I didn’t really feel any hunger suppression the first two weeks much, but at 3mg it was literally really good for three days and then basically came creeping back and I noticed myself grabbing for the cookies and extra snacks. I decided to take my shot every 6days but I been white knuckling it for a few days at the end . Now on 4.2mg, with more medicine in my system, the hunger suppression has actually been only for about 3-4! days even with more drug accumulatio. So confusing bc I am monitoring my levels with the shotsy app and the levels are def higher but suppression not lasting. I am still losing weight which is amazing but I feel if I can’t control the hunger, that will eventually stop bc I’ll overeat on days 4-7. . I weight train 4 days a week and do cardio the other three, basically seven days a week I’m working out. Been doing this basically for the past 12 years so my body is able to handle this, it’s the hunger that always hindered me and kept me lean. I don’t want to live a life of tracking calories the rest of my life bc not sustainable for me. So I have been reading so much to figure out the correct protocol. I would like to at least have suppression for 6 days (still be able to eat, just less hunger overall and more full for longer so I can eat less). My healthcare provider prohibits anything less then every 7 days and they basically said you have to get to a level in your system that it’s enough to last you the whole week(not just to the half life of 5 days) but from what I am reading on Reddit, it seems it never lasts that long, only the 5 days and I don’t want to keep increasing the dosage every week. I’m wondering, do I do a shot every 5 days instead? Split the doses into every 3/4 days? I am ”worried” though about crushing my receptors as I have been seeing some people say but not sure if it’s ever been studied and proven. What has worked for you guys to at least last 5-6 days of suppression without going crazy high on mg doses where it crushes your receptors? My diet is high in protein (before this I was eating like 200g on any a day, ofc less now but still good). I am 5/7 about 180 now, started at 188.4. Pretty muscular build. Just wanted to get very lean where abs are popping, could never get that. Or a flat stomach, always had a little gut. Looking for some motivation and insight here on the correct amount like what should I expect to feel? 5-6 days of controlled hunger? I don’t want to not eat ofc. So should I take shots more frequently (and monitor levels with glp1plotter and shotsy) like 5 days or split doses into 2 or just hit myself with higher doses and grind it out for 7 days? i just took a shot (this time only after 5 days) of 5.1mg and ofc supression is super heavy the day after now. I much rather it be a little less and won’t have to continuously go up, but also more manageable where I can eat less and stay full on days 4-7. Any help is greatly appreciated and sorry for the long post. The healthcare providers are so cookie cutter and just wondering everyone else’s perspective.
