Me, (15M) is looking for gift suggestions for my upcoming 16th bday. I’ve spend a few weeks looking
into gift ideas, but none have really hit. Budget would ideally be around $1,000 but can go to $2,000 if that’s better.

Here are the 5 ideas that I’ve looked into the most (not ranked in any order):

1. 3d Printer

1. I’ve been taking engineering courses for a little bit now, and I’ve become good at CAD and can make my own designs with no extra assistance. So I thought a 3d printer would be cool to be able to turn ideas into a tangible object, but I already have a crappy 3d printer, and my school has 3d printers, so I feel that this is repetitive. My top 2 contenders would be the Bambu labs x2d and the a2L, both with their ALS system. I also feel like I’d use this for 1-3 months, printing random trinkets, and then I’d never use it again.

1. I found one that I like for $400-500. It’s a brown canvas with a green spine. Would buy in France because family has a property on the riviera and it’s cheaper there due to no import fees.

I do, however feel that this is very overpriced, and I already have several wallets from traveling.

3. A “Super Clone” watch: I’m actively saving for my first luxury watch for when I turn 18, first pick is the Rolex Bruce Wayne on Jubilee. The issue is, I don’t have anything meaningful on my wrist right now, and no, I don’t want a $1,000 genuine watch, because, imo, they all look terrible. So I was thinking of getting a super clone, or a “really good fake watch” to wear until I get off the waitlist for my Rolex. These would be around $350-750, but because I’m a bit of an engineering nerd, I hyper-focus on all of the little errors on these replica watches, also, I’m not too sure how I’d feel walking around with a fake watch on, also knowing that I can afford one I’m just not comfortable putting that much of my money into a watch at this moment.

4. Apple AirPods Max 2: These are the best all-around headphones for what I need, but I already have Sony Linkbuds S which I love. So having two pairs of headphones would be super redundant imo.

5. Investment Money: This is my least favorite option, as I already have a good bit of money in several different investing and trading accounts. I do love investing, but this feels like the equivalent of getting gift cards, it’s just not memorable, or that thoughtful.
   I’ve also explored building a PC, but RAM prices are too high at the moment for me to consider this option. I also already have a MacBook Pro, with a Studio Display, a nice mechanical keyboard, a mouse, and whatnot.

I’ve heard mixed reviews regarding AuraFragrance. Mostly good, but some people saying they received counterfeit items, or an empty box. Any advice on whether to use Venba Fragrance instead? I’m looking at buying Le beau le parfum. The tester is $107 on Venba, but the OG is $100 on AuraFragrance. Please help!
