For those having blood oxygen reading issues on new watches, report it to Apple.

Check and see if you have the Feedback app on your phone, I think you may have to run the beta to see it. If you got it report feedback on spo2 under reporting. Beta notes still don’t show it as a known issue so we need more people reporting.

Got the beta…this doesn’t even compare. Those that say “end of Bevel” never actually used Bevel.

Something either has to go back or go for sale but Fenix 7 Pro Solar will stay forever…

Something special about that watch, it’s been to deep ocean, highest point in the Smokeys, lots of sweaty miles and I can’t part with it even though it hasn’t been worn in a long time. I feel like Garmin has lost something, new watches feel like consumer electronics junk with no soul. I’m not even sure if I’m keeping the 9 pro at this point. Those that been around for a while what’s your thought?

Map response difference between Fenix 9 Pro and Tactix 8

By no means is it perfect but as you can see the difference is pretty noticeable. Same map layers turned on. This is strictly in the map function not navigating so will have to see the difference there but this is what always drove me nuts about last few Garmin watches. Way better now.

Fenix 9 Pro 47mm vs Tactix 8 47mm

First impressions, feels more premium and I can appreciate slanted bezel makes it wear a bit smaller. My main reason to even try it was the responsive map so will post a vid to compare the two once it’s set up.

Decided to do something different since we all seem to have an identical BB58 here. Kinda dig it.

Personalized license plate came in off center. Flaw or design?

My OCD is kicking in a bit…is this normal with these new plates? You would think it would be in the center.

Firmware updates later…still sucks

Hill climb circuit. Whoop 5.0 Life vs Apple Watch Ultra 3. My third time trying whoop really liked the idea of Healthspan. I got around $7k in wearables. None of them have this much trouble. Worn correctly above wrist bone. Bicep strap gets better results but then step counts are halved which messes up the Healthspan calculation. How are you supposed to hit your zone targets if hardware can’t pick it up? Throwing it back in the drawer for now.

Lifting weights with Oura 5

For those that upgraded to Oura 5 have you been able to lift weights comfortably? Comfort has always been an issue with a bulky ring.

I don’t know how people used it before, so clunky and unreliable even compared to just a year ago. Much improved. Almost as accurate as my Oura/Apple Watch now. Had zero HR issues running/weightlifting while wearing it on my wrist so far. Sleep tracking is now top notch now too. I’m keeping it.
