I tried removing the number from both accounts, but every time I do it, the app throws an error and the change never goes through. I’ve already tried using both app and browser.. nothing worked so far. and i dont feel comfortable using my number phone on instagram. it was just to recover my two new accs.

honestly this whole situation with Instagram is getting ridiculous. there’s clearly a massive wave of bans happening and the AI moderation system is completely broken. innocent accounts are getting disabled for no real reason, people lose years of memories, messages, followers, work, and then support either never answers or just sends automated responses that solve nothing. what makes it even worse is that after getting disabled, many people can’t even create a new account anymore because it gets banned almost instantly. so now nobody even understands what is happening anymore. is Meta banning devices? IP addresses? fingerprints? Or is the AI just completely out of control and flagging normal users as suspicious for no reason? the craziest part is that real scammers, spam bots, and fake accounts somehow stay online for months, while normal users get destroyed overnight without explanation. and when people try to appeal, there’s almost no human support involved. everything feels automated, cold, and broken. at this point it honestly feels like the system is punishing innocent people more than actual bad actors. if your moderation AI is disabling thousands of legitimate accounts and preventing people from even starting over, then something is seriously wrong with the platform. nobody expects moderation to be perfect, but this current situation is absurd. people deserve transparency, actual human review, and a real explanation instead of random bans and silence.

I think I’ll finally delete Chai because it’s been two months now (although I know some users haven’t used Chai for much longer), and I’ve lost hope. Let me know if it ever comes back.
