Bomb fellas from biome 4. I'm not clear on the timing rules.
Do they blow up after x moves? If so, how many?
Or, do they blow up after x seconds in real time after entering the screen? If so, how many?
AND: do they one-shot you if they go off, or is it a set amount of damage?
Really just a rant about how much I'm enjoying this gem of a game

Accidentally killing most of the screen without doing anything and have to step on traps 6 times did feel like I was Icarus flying too close to the sun. But that's probability, baby!
I love the wizard so much. He gives me a lot of agency with his sun power, and 3 magic in biomes 2 and 3 is beautiful. As long as you luck through biome 1.
I like the huntress well enough too, but she's less easy for me. Knight is good if boring, Lizard is worse knight to me (or I'm playing him wrong). Warrior and Peasant I've had no luck with (again, tips welcome). No SPOILER character yet but she sounds like a blast. What are other people's thoughts on fav characters?
THIS GAME IS BEAUTIFUL. The art is so alive and surreal. The secrets/unlocks all feel like rumours you would hear in the schoolyard as a kid. Vibes are perfect all around.
THE GAMEPLAY CLICKS WITH ME. Love a roguelite, so no brainer there. But the test-your-luck just speaks to me. It's a series of non-stop micro choices, and even though it's inherently random it's so fun to just make informed decisions. Yes of course you can be gifted safe moves, or manufacture them through your build choices, but that feels great too.
Yes, entirely safe choices are less fun, and so are unavoidable 50/50s where it's either live or die, but I don't mind! It's a game of chance, and I'm never upset to die because if you tempt fate enough times eventually you'll die to a 1 in 1000 chance.
I see a lot of talk about BALANCE. Some say the game is too easy. I say YES some builds are strong (see: strawberry/healing teeth), BUT that's totally fine by me when even the strongest builds can still be killed by the divine intervention of statistics hahaha.

I understand the artist/album/songs folder structure, my question is:
How easy is it to create my own albums for organising random songs that don't fit / I don't want on any studio albums?
For example, songs like B-sides, or demos that release as a bonus track on a Live album. These songs in my collection usually have a place in an album or single release but they don't make sense scattered around like that to me. I'd rather create a custom album folder called something like "B-Sides, Demos, and Unreleased Tracks" and shove them all in there.
If I do this in the folder structure, will Plex see how I've organised these songs and ignore where they're supposed to be in favour of displaying them in the custom album I created? Or will it cause problems?
EDIT: additional question: is renaming files/folders themselves enough for Plex to know how I want the music displayed, or do I have to edit the files' actual metadata in properties? If so, is there a well-liked software to let me do this manually but for many tracks at a time?
Been an XD75 (now ID75) guy for years, and love it compared to standard row staggered boards. But it's the only ortho I've ever built/used.

I'm wondering how people feel about the column-stagger I see in a lot of the builds on this subreddit. How do the ergonomics stand up against a stagger-less pure grid style?

And is there a standard amount and arrangement of columns stagger, or is there variation based on user or manufacturer preferences?

Bought from AliExpress. Assembled, plugged in and started tinkering with keymap in VIA's webapp. Basic keycodes work fine, but more 'advanced' QMK functions send nothing--things like ModTap, or even basic layer control like TT, TO, MO.
I've checked in with VIA's discord and they suspect I have a dud PCB, possibly compromised/faulty on delivery or just shipped with strange custom bloatware.
Has anyone else bought this board and had troubles like this?
Been out of the hobby a while and it seems like the xd75 isn't sold anymore. Looking for a replacement with the same 5x15 layout, hotswappable, will take the gateron switches I have laying around. Not fussed about RGB.
I've used this XD75 daily for the last 7 years and today the keys stopped sending anything mid-sentence. Windows still sees it connected and the LEDs are still on which is confusing to me.
I admit I'm not as into this hobby as I was when I built it, so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot this issue.
Things I've tried:
- different cable
- different PC
- turning keyboard / connected PC on/off
I have a json file of the layout I made a long time ago if that helps. Maybe I somehow locked it? I vaguely remember having a lock function on one of the layers at some point.
Help would be much appreciated, I struggle to use other keyboards after so long with this XD75.
