Yeah the trigger sucks, the stock isn't the "best" but fuck this gun vibes out with my days of C all Of Duty Black ops I & II

So I planted this weeping birch tree a few years ago and I happen to notice that there is damage on the trunk. The tree seems healthy. Should this be a concern and is there anything I can do to help the tree?

Good morning I transplanted two Chicago Hardy fakes last week into my garden. I purchased these from fast growing trees.com unfortunately up here in northern Maine it has dipped down into the low 30s and we've had consistent rain over the past week.

The first two pictures were taken yesterday. The last two pictures were taken the day. I planted them approximately 10 days ago. Should I be concerned that the foliage is dying off will be bounced back?
