Besides the obvious that pop heads would normally name. Two artist who immediately come to mind for me is Xtina and Mariah Carey.

Xtina HATED Genie in a bottle and didn’t want to record it, but her A&R fought for the song and knew it was a hit. the song submitted her place as one of the top pop artist in the time and had a big legacy.

I also think some of the single choices in her peak Eras (Stripped, Back To Basic and Bionic) were odd.

How was infatuation not a single?! it would’ve been perfect for the summer, especially since the Latin cross over was big in the 90’s and 00’s. It’s also one her more catchier songs off stripped. And could’ve seen that being a big radio hit.

Mariah, I feel like her post Tommy era was hit and miss with picking singles too.

Mariah infamously hated Hero because she found it corny and she didn’t write it with herself in mind. But Tommy made her put it out and now it’s one of her signature hits and is a tribute song that impacted many lives.

Mariah also wanted to put out Say somethin as the lead for emancipation put her label told her to go back into the studio and work with JD for the chemistry and in hopes of getting a hit. That last minute sessions with JD generated it’s like that and we belong together. Two big records that sent Mariah comeback perfectly.

I also feel like Migrate was a missed single off E=MC2 and you don’t know what to do on the elusive chanteuse album.

having a hard time narrow down between those too.

I like Seattle because of the PNW vibes and easy access to the nature, the needle drop, farmers market, capitol hill.

Salt Like City I've always wanted to visit because of the geography and the city looks progressive.

Yellow stone has been a bucket list destination but I'm unsure if there is much to do in Wyoming and how much of yellow stone can actually take a weeks vacation?

To describe my travel interest, I like to do excursions or activities, good dinning experiences or sight seeing.

like… when did this show evolve from being about real life baddies going on the road to tour and promote their brands to getting a group a women together and then trying to prove who is the best fighter out of them All?

it feels like a Roman colosseum

had a white ex (heavy on the ex) and he rarely if ever listened to black artists. His claim was that he “didn’t like rnb and rap music” but there are plenty of black artist who make all types of genre. The only time I ever remember him listening to black artist is when SZA drops a new album, and that was always a one and done listen. it always felt like a side eye moment to me.

we broke up for other unrelated issues (including him having racist grandparents) but his lack of diversity in taste always gave me an ick. He really only listened to white artist who made pop, rock and alternative music.

So I have been with this company for over a year. when I first joined the company, the mindset was “we don’t care how often you WFH as long as the work gets done.” So it was up to the employee and their supervisor discretion on when you came in or WFH or not and if you were fully trained.

The job doesn’t have an official “start” and “end time” as long as you got your minimum 40 hours a week, got your tasks done and were productive , no one cared what time you came in and left. I know a lot of people who would work half the day and then go home and clock back in and work the other half. Or people would get all their tasks done for the day and as long as there no in person meetings or critical tasks, they would leave early and no one cared as long as the 40 hours were met

of course if you have a critical task or meeting. you might be expected to work over the weekend or stay later in office. but in general it was very flexible all around.

Our old manager and and the senior manager left so we recently got two new managers. Both of them hate our hybrid set up because they have never been in a hybrid environment and don’t understand why it’s necessary .

They didn’t understand “why people” needed to WFH “so much“ throughout the week and that meeting through teams or zoom doesn’t displace an in person meeting. Mind you 99% of our job is done on a computer.

anything in person we can easily coordinate with the appropriate people, but all of our work is online.

we tried to fight against it but the senior manger got rid of our hybrid schedule to now fully in office. You can only have WFH max once a month with prior approval now.

i was still under the impression we have had our standard flexible hours (come in when you want or leave when you want based off how critical your tasks are)

every other week i have a day where I’ll work in office for half the day, clock out, go back home and clock in and work remotely the rest of the day.

My supervisor had a meeting with me last week saying “I’m not allowed to do that anymore” and that our core business hours are 7 to 3:30 and “what if someone wanted info about a critical tasks you had?”

I’m thinking to myself….all of our work is done through a computer and everyone uses teams and zoom for meetings and communication. If they have a question for me they could reach out and I will answer it. Or in the rare circumstances something needs to be done face to face, that time is scheduled appropriately with notice. I’m literally just going home and clocking back in and still working.

I think the new managers are really cracking down on supervision who is now cracking down on us in terms of our in office time and basically making this a core 5 day a week “butts in seats” and “making you more accessible“ job now.

And before anyone brings this up. This was not a performance issue. I have been one of the top 4 performers in the whole department and have gotten glowing reviews and feedback before last week.

i didnt fight it or argue, I just said “okay” and changed up my habits.

Has anyone else been through a sharp transition like this?

Baby Tyson is overall a cute girl and with a nice shape. but she is way too petite for that big ass BBL. it’s not as tragic as ones we know like Slim2badd or Sua, but sis at times looks like one of those queen ants every time she wears a bathing suit. Scotty show, Rollie show and Bad vs. Wild did not take off like they thought. I do think BGW and Bad Boys has a small following but they are not as mainstream or as popular as Baddies. so is Baddies basically the only show keeping the network afloat?

There's a difference between saying “fuck your kid” and “ I know someone who can put 🍆 on your daughter right now!” like what…. What possessed her to say that… was it the pills (allegedly) its disgusting. And she should’ve gotten way more backlash for it.

I feel like Tavii definitely ran through Killa and Rican. but her and fania was giving tie. both of them were getting their licks in and both of them left with damage.
