consistently understanding advanced videos at 250 hours, is this normal?

i was curious how well will I understand advanced content at 245 hours, turns out they arent that much harder than intermediate ones?

I watched about 25 random videos from the advanced category (not sorting by easy) and im consistently able to understand 75-85% Im I built different or is this standard ?

Prolly a little late but how did Saya and mori not make it to set 17 worlds ?

I personally only watch NA tournaments and of course regionals (some not all) and worlds, and of course in set 16, the best 2 players in the tournament imho were Saya and mori, (it was my first time watching tft worlds and my first set getting into tft tournaments in general) and the level that Saya put up (and mori to a slightly lesser extent) was just insane, was so insane that I was so sure he or mori will win the next worlds, turns out both didnt make it to worlds even, and i was honestly shattered, what happened ? They got hard mortdogged ?

Also not trying to disrespect Huanmei or anything he is literally a beast of a similar caliber to these legends.

Visited 11 different orthopedics, no 2 agreed on what do I need, my MRI report is attached, 25M was a runner attempting to become a professional, now I can only walk for a few k steps at most, will I need a surgery if I want to run again? if yes which kind, im just collecting opinions.

feel free to share your thoughts, as i wont do anything until i consult a professional, i would like to hear your opinions

been running to pursue a potential professional career for over a year, but got an injury about 13 months ago, had a bed exam by several doctors didn't identify the issue, although I didn't experience pain as far as the bed exams go, i still experience pain when when i twist, pivot, or change direction when my left knee is planted to the ground

walking for a long time doesn't necessarily cause pain right away but I always experience deep and throbbing for several hours afterwards, leg extension are unbearable when the weight is just slightly challenging, sleeping while my knees are straight causes extreme discomfort or sometimes even pain, if i sleep like that, i wake up with them most of the time feeling really "dry" or "tense" I dont know how to explain it.

seldom there is a very sharp pain when I walk, when it happens, even putting my left foot on the ground with little to no reliance on it causes pain, although this occurrence is very rare, attached is my latest mri report from 40 days ago, im not sure if its of any help

i did bilateral knee arthroscopy (diagnostic) back in august of 2025

the doctor found mild cartilage softening behind the kneecap and slight degeneration on the inner meniscus, alongside internal folds of membrane (synovial plicae) in both knees.

The surgeon removed the synovial plicae from both knees via excision.

Bone marrow was harvested from the pelvis to perform a stem cell preparation, which was then injected into both knees during the procedure to aid recovery and joint health.

I felt basically no improvement after the surgery, i felt in a way worse after the surgery, i did take an optivisc 90 mg injection a week ago on my left knee, the doctor said i will be able to run in a 4-5 days, i did jog for 30 seconds yesterday (a week passed by), had no pain until i entered my home and got intense pain in my left knee

MRI - EXTREMITIES LOWEREXTREMITY JOINT W/O CONTRAST:Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the left knee was performed using T1, T2 and FAT SAT weighted sequences in multiple planes.Abnormal morphology of the lateral meniscus noted with increased width of the meniscal body, measuring upto 15 millimeters ("bow-tie" sign visible on 4 contiguous sagittal slices) - incomplete discoid morphology. Horizontal hyperintense signal on T2 and PD fatsat sequences noted in the anterior horn of lateral meniscus extending to the capsular margin, representing horizontal cleavage tear. Two small cystic foci measuring approximately 2 to 3 millimeters noted adjacent to the capsular margin of anterior horn of lateral meniscus, representing parameniscal cysts.Fluid signal noted between the postero-lateral aspect of lateral meniscus and popliteus tendon - representing ? menisco-capsular separation / fluid in subpopliteal recess.Linear hyperintense signal noted in the posterior horn of medial meniscus, not extending to the articular surfaces, suggestive of grade II signal. Anterior horn and body of meniscus appear normal.Posterior cruciate ligament and anterior cruciate ligament show normal signal and morphology. No evidence of tear or degeneration.Lateral collateral ligament and medial collateral ligament show normal signal and morphology. No evidence of tear or degeneration.Mild amount of fluid noted in the joint space. The congruity and the alignment of the knee joint is well maintained. The articular cartilage reveals normal intensity and is uniform in thickness. The quadriceps tendon, ligamentum patellae and the infra patellar fat pad appears normal. The bones around the knee reveal normal intensity without any evidence of a focal lesion. There is no evidence of abnormal intensity within the marrow. Bony cortex is intact without any erosion. The visualized part of the muscles and fat planes appear normal.Mild subcutaneous edema noted in the anterior aspect of knee.IMPRESSION:Incomplete discoid morphology of lateral meniscus, with a horizontal cleavage tear in the anterior horn and two small parameniscal cysts.

In season 1, episode 3, Walt notices a missing shard while piecing together a broken plate in the garbage. He realizes Krazy-8 secretly pocketed it as a weapon while he was passed out. This chilling discovery reminded me that there are still unnoticed hints that deepen the story, Bravo Vince 👏

If valve wants Dota Underlords to ever be a thing, now is the time, please consider hiring Mortdog.

TFT (Teamfight tactics, riot games auto chess) is at an all time low currently, the player base is dwindling, at 20-30% of the last set's player base.

there has been a lot of dissatisfaction with the balance, while the game is a lot more balanced now, for the majority of the set the game has had comps that dominate the meta so hard whereas other comps are near unplayable even from good positions, this has been a consistent theme in the previous sets too, last set for example shared a similar balance issue where for the majority of the set, your comp was almost always dictated on your luck on the first round.

The players last set were pretty happy because the set was very fun, but riot themselves admitted that they messed up on the flexibility front for 70% of the set.

MORTDOG:

Mortdog was the game design director and lead developer

To say that Mort is a legend in the TFT community is an understatement. I think it would be difficult to find a single player who doesn't know who this guy is, he took TFT from an prototype with unsure direction to a game with a strong esports scene and millions of active players, I'm not exaggerating when I say he spearheaded TFT to become the leading name in the autochess genre, and the crazy thing im still not doing the guy justice.

Why hire him now?

Mortdog recently left riotgames, the wording of the post where he announces his departure heavily implies that he was pushed out, while what happened is still a mystery, what we know for sure, according to him is that: he though his tenure at riot games would last longer, please refer to the full tweet below for more details.

https://x.com/Mortdog/status/2074556774330585468

What is there in it for Valve?

Mortdog has been at TFT's core for a very long time, and to say that the community considers his leave to be monumental, would be a grave understatement, I think here lies a great opportunity for valve, Mortdog isnt only the autochess guy, he has worked on many projects in the past, and due to his valuable expierience, he was entrusted with the weight of riots' autochess, and he delivered, the game is literally a money printer for riot now, the rate of cosmetic releases tells you how much its working for them.

The Dota Underlords potential:

as a loyal Dota Underlords fan, and as an enjoyer of the original TFT, I proudly say that I played UL for over a 100 games around release, sure maybe that isnt much for many, but its certainly enough to grasp the potential the game has, between how appealing the game looks, to the ideas implemented, to the flexibility of Valves engine (especially in comparison to riot's) and how mort himself mentioned playing Underlords many times, and most importantly:

TFT currently has no real competitors to speak off , because going into this genre isnt easy, not cheap and yields high risk of failure, not many companies decided to take a stab at auto chess (riki reference) this left TFT completely alone at the top, TFT desperately needs competition here, this will be easier for valve than others because:

- Valve is huge, if there is a company that can take on riot in their field, its Valve, they are the ones that can constantly pump money to match riots ever-developing title.

- Auto chess background: Dota devs not only developed their own Autochess, but in an old blogpost, they mentioned that they played a lot of the original autochess (IIRC), so they understand the genre really well, and most importantly they have the ability to understand what makes a game like autochess fun, if they can think like a customer, they will start tailoring the game better to their customers

- The expenses: Valve already has a strong product, the usual costs to start a game from scratch are huge. luckily valve already committed those in the past, valve doesn't need to start from 0, not even close.

- despite the years of inactive development, dota underlords is still cited as the only tft competitor that the game ever had, and still it is cited as such, although not a real one, dota underlords had that much hype and the game is literally THAT good

- Mortdog's name: people really appreciate this guy, whatever the guy cooks, people will eat, I promise having him work on a game, that alone will bring thousands upon thousands of people, those people liking the game will bring even more to try it, between those you will also find creators who have big followings in the TFT scene, those will also hop on to play it, when the product turns out to be amazing, more players are sure to follow

Please Valve, Gaben, this is once-in-a-lifetime chance for the beloved Dota underlords to comeback, I hope you will make the right decision

How I learnt Polish in a Year (B2) From Outside of Poland.

about a year ago I asked my first question about instrumental case on this sub, at the time I was a week or 2 into my polish journey, today, about 14 months later, I managed to reach a point where my grasp of the language is firm enough to allow me to comfortably hold a conversation in polish, this is basically what I did during this period to arrive at my current level without setting a foot in Europe.

(P.S feel free to use subs)
