Are you ok Cary?
And yes…”crimes against nature” means exactly what you think it means when animals are involved.
Things I was not expecting to read when I woke up this morning stopped long long before something like this…👀😳

I’ve decided to give my couch some new life and replace the cushions which I’ve found some good references here, but I’m unsure how to go about addressing these three areas where the fabric is coming apart.
Not sure if this is something I can just use a backing patch for or if there are better ways to address this. But figured since I’ll be taking it all apart to put in new cushions, I might as well fix the fabric while I’m at it.
I have a pretty small galley kitchen with very limited drawer and cabinet space. I’ve been looking for a way to store my spices, but many of the racks leave them open to light (which I understand isn’t great)
I’m wondering if something like this where they are recessed into an enclosure might be the right solution without the light problem that degrades their quality.
I’m looking for some options for spice storage that aren’t just on a shelf in my cabinets (2nd pic) that might work well for the wall space in the 1st pic.
I’m pretty limited on cabinet and drawer space so freeing up a shelf would be huge. I cook for fun often so need easy access to most of my spices.
I’ll likely get a set of matching jars for them all to go with it.
However my challenge is that as I understand it, light has a pretty adverse effect on spice quality. Which finds me stuck against the traditional wall mount people use.
I do have a very organized/clean decorating/display style (arguably to a fault, so it basically also has to be a bit of a display style piece.
Wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

Y’all i absolutely HATE this thing. I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve had to deal with this issue. And it’s EVERY time I have to move it around.
Model: GE Stackable W/D GUD24ESSM0WW
The only cycle I can kind of run is the drain/spin right now.
I’m getting the lid lock click attempts, but it won’t lock (or if it does it won’t register that it locked).
I recently replaced the lock switch and life was good. Until I moved it out of the door at to clean the vent.
I’ve had issues with the self “leveler” which never seems to work right without dozens of attempts.
I’ve also turned the break off/on (with a wait time), tried the lid open/close 6 times “reset”.
I don’t even know where to start anymore. And I’m incredibly handy…except with this particular appliance that makes me want to yeet it off my condo balcony.
Help please..
I’ve been trying watching the renovation of the building on Chapel Hill & Foster since it started and been very much wondering what will fill it.
Awhile back, figured out a restaurant…now I see which one…but know nothing else
Anyone have any intel on this? I can’t imagine they are moving…their Old Five Points space is so good…
I don’t know what’s worst tbh, the fact that I are in the era of AI “news” articles, or that the best WRAL could do for a positive “story” about Durham was to ask ChatGPT to write them an article on the “best neighborhoods”.
