Favorite and least favorite DJ’s on SiriusXM…

Ok, having listened to rock radio for close to 50 years, i kinda get a kick at some of the DJ’s on the channels I listen to. Do you? I love Palmyra on the Underground Garage, she sounds like she’s talking with a sneer which makes me laugh. The annoying ones are nose-talking Josiah on XMU who says “albahm” a lot and Rachel Steele, who has the most clichéd name for a rock DJ and sounds like she’s trying to seduce the old guys who listen to Classic Rewind, or like she just got out of bed. All the 70’s FM lady DJ’s sounded like that back in the day and it makes me laugh. Anyone else??

Metal Evolution

Have you guys watched this? One of the first questions asked by the narrator is “why did Metal splinter into all these sub genres?” right after he lists examples of subgenres. LOL. It’s because of fans like him who need to categorize everything! “My Metal is better than yours”? Why do we as Metal fans NEED a distinction between Norwegian Non-Melodic Death Metal and Swedish Melodic Death Metal? Maybe I’m just too old and I listen to too much other types of music to care, but this is a big deal in the Metal world and I’m just wondering why…
