Officially giving up on my second ever nuzlocke. This has been my first time playing Emerald. I’m doing a semi-hardcore nuzlocke, which means level caps and no items, but I can continue with my box if I wipe.

I lost to the second Elite 4, after sweeping the first member. Their Sableye was paralyzed and confused for like 10 turns straight and not a single time did it get stopped. Oh and almost every single Shadow Ball it landed was a crit. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such bullshit odds in my life. And then after I finally defeated Sableye, their final Pokémon Banette was faster than all my mons. My Aggron also got burned in the first few turns. And my Hariyama had no moves that had any effect. Whole fight was a mess.

I don’t think that there’s any way I could build a coherent team with what I’ve got left in my box.

This is my second nuzlocke I’ve done and the second nuzlocke that I’ve failed. I did a Fire Red nuzlocke before that ended at the Elite 4 as well… same rules.

Man.

Guess I’ll just beat the Elite 4 normally and then move on to Platinum.

I’m playing Emerald for the first time while doing a hardcore nuzlocke. Second ever nuzlocke. Just lost my whole team to two random trainers in Victory Road who kicked my ass. They had a Slaking and a Gardevoir and I was not prepared for them to be moving the way that they were at all. That Slaking was pulling out every damn move in the game.

My Solrock had died to a random crit from another trainer earlier, which left me out of a valuable asset that I think could have won me the fight. I maybe shouldn’t have continued with one dead party member, but I didn’t think the trainers would level up like they did.

Thankfully, it’s not a fully hardcore nuzlocke because I play with the rule of allowing myself to continue with the rest of my box if I wipe, but still… That Breloom had been with me since Petalburg Woods man. There is no chance I’m making it through the Elite 4 😭😭

The Elite 4 was where my first ever nuzlocke in Fire Red came to an end, so I came into this one with little confidence, but I didn’t know I’d get packed up before even making it there…

Hardcore nuzlocke. First time playing Emerald.

This was a rough one 😭. I came wildly unprepared, despite feeling like I prepared as much as I could. I guess that’s just what happens during a blind nuzlocke.

I thought my Sharpedo would hard carry me in this fight, but I didn’t quite anticipate 75% of his health being taken from one earthquake from Claydol. It was pretty much just downhill from there… Though Solrock actually unexpectedly came in clutch since it didn’t seem like there was anything that they could do to it.
