7.5mg users here?

How long was it before you went up? I feel like most ppl do not go beyond 5mg. I’ve stalled a little and even had hunger - eating double dinners (all good food but more portions) towards day 4 and even reaching for sweets as emotional stress food relief (which I’m
Working on reducing). Anyway I’ve played around with the 6.5mg and am now considering on up to 7.5mg. But worried I am half way to the limit. Was 7.5mg the magic number for you?

Reliable peptide treatment information.

Is there a reliable website that houses all the peptides, what they do, summarises the scientific research (study details, short, length, dosage, results, goal and conclusions) - not just what gym bro doses - and then makes recommendations based on results/what fixing?

Yes AI chat/claude and google scholar exists but wondering if anyone has pull it together and validated it in a reliable website.

How should I feel?

I’ve gone up to 6.5mg on MJ. I still get hungry but can push though meals but then eat bigger after (not this is not my normal pattern, I normally eat 3 meals protein and fibre rich, but more of an observation, as before MJ id never skip or push back a meal!) so I know it is working.

Here is my thoughts - when I first started I’d get hunger completely gone for 2-3 days (almost force myself to eat the first two days) have nausea and then obviously increase hunger as we went on with last days all my inflammation returning form my auto immune disorder - Whcih MJ helps manage

Now I don’t get that strong hunger suppression, more digestive issues like slow bowel movement and constipation but the hunger is still always there/ Is this normal for any long term users? I’m gauging how good the medication is working.

5mg? Not working - have put on weight

Been going up to 5mg from 2.5mg - 5mg initially about a month ago and much was too much of a jump. Then went back to 3:5mg then 4mg and now back last week on 5mg.

I’ve noticed since increasing my Appetite is massive. I’m Picking at food again and snacking more: I drink loads of water walk and electrolytes and focus on protein - 50mg at breakfast etc etc.

Some say reduce to 2.5mg some Say increase…:: I’ve put on 2kg in the last month…..disappointed

GLP-1 (MJ) or Metformin to manage MCAS

Which would you go? I have weight to loose. I’m on MJ and need to come off for prep for pregnancy. The MCAS symptoms have been almost eliminated for me. Ive been trying to come off my dosage of MJ to see how my MCAS goes/ dare I say I had a major tigger today and am devastated. I want to look at Metformin. As it can be safe in pregnancy.

Pregnancy is what triggered (along with age wither things) my MCAS and I actually have such anxiety about it.

KNOWING you will put on weight coming off MJ… the head fk it will bring…

I am coming off my 20 week MJ journey to prepare for getting pregnant. My initial aim for MJ was for my autoimmune condition (it’s night n day beneficial) and the loosing weight to improve my fertility.

I knew this day was coming but I am actually concerned about putting on so much weight during the next chapter - I KNOW I’ll be back on it after I have my next child. It’s bittersweet cause I know weight gain is healthy during pregnancy for a healthy child.

Has anyone here done this - lost weight had baby (come off obviously)and put in I weight and gone back on MJ and lost successfully. The mental head fk is the part that’s gonna mess with me after such great success loosing the right from my first kid.

MJ bad pen batch? even possible?

I am on MJ for chronic inflammation for my autoimmune condition first then weight loss second. I’d take this meditation even without weight loss that’s how much it’s changed my life and specifically improved my autoimmune MCAS condition .i think a. Lot is associate with the fact mast cells have a glp 1 receptor. My joint pain, fibromyalgia muscle pain, fog, low BP, heart racing and insomnia have nearly gone.

I’ve been on a 2.5mg for 6 weeks but notice sky symptoms and pain of my autoimmune condition return by day 5. Doctor and I decided to increase to 5mg - new pen. I took the dose and noticed it work well first time and second time I tried splitting the dose but it didn’t work strong enough on he first 2.5mg of the week.

I’ve gone back to doing the 5mg. I am finding it just not working as well. Maybe the splitting 2.5mg last week or maybe more tolerance idk but my pain is back and I just wish it worked as well.

Has anyone noticed something similar - it’s almost like this pen medication isn’t as strong or something (I KNOW that’s not possible but it FEELS like that). I almost feel Like getting a different pen form a different pharmacy just to see if I am crazy or not.

My weight has also not dropped like it has on all my previous weeks - in fact I was ravenous at meal times a few times during the week and even put weight on the scales. Not much much like 1kg. But enough shift from The 7weeks before to go hmm that doesn’t seem right

Splitting Dose for MCAS

I am on MJ for a duel purpose. I have MCAS - an inflammatory autoimmune condition - as well as some weight loss. MCAS means a lot of steroids and antihistamine - both have made me put on about 20kg post pregnancy and long covid; additional factors in weight gain over the years.

Anyway, I have had a TREMENDOUS response (chalk n cheese) shift in my MCAS. No more pain. No more triggers. I’m like how I was before i got MCAS.

I do notice that 3days before my next injection symptoms return; histamine dumps, itchy skin, brain fog, irritability, sneezing, sore throat, unbearable muscle pain and joint inflammation where I have had a day I was nearly unable to walk. I even notice it (subtly) on day 4 prior to- as the medication I assume is designed to wear off before your next injection so makes sense. I’ve responded well to the 2.5mg from a MCAS perspective but also a weight loss (4kg drop in 5 weeks) but notice some teetering and the symptoms retuning. But due to the wearing off have stepped up to a 5mg to see how that goes.

I specifically want to try splitting the dose - so a Sunday then a Thursday as an example then shifting/rolling to ensure 3 days between injections.

I wanted to see if anyone here is doing this and any tips or tricks?

Example of Eating

Hi All day 2 for me. I’m trying to understand what an average eating day may look for you? I’m hoping to focus on intuitive eating - with a side of focusing on the right foods.

I’ve seen ppl consuming eggs and cottage cheese for breakfast but what else liek wha does your day look like - I know injecting days are harder to eat but maybe like a normal day

I am new and want to try Mounjaro. I’m in Melbourne. My GP clinic has closed down and I have not got new ones yet.

How best do go about obtaining it? Is it something you get via a Telehealth? Or do I need it go into a new clinic?
