Is 1500ft/min rate of descent in a Cessna 152 that agressive?

Descent from cruise altitude...

Rate of Descent: 1500ft;

Airspeed: 80 to 85kts;

Clean configuration.

No excessive load factor.

No induced slip.

XC flight requirements in Europe (another AD required?!)

In Europe, do you have to land (or do a touch-and-go) at a different aerodrome from the departure aerodrome for a flight to be logged as cross-country?

Or, if you take off from aerodrome A, overfly points B, C and D, and then return to land at aerodrome A, can you log the flight as XC, assuming you had a planned route?

[Gamma] Is this normal? Or the monitor is defective?

Philips Evnia 27M2N3800A

-OSD is set to Gamma 2.2;

-Gamma tests indicate a gamma around 1.6-1.8 ... or even lower (1.3 on EIZO monitor test).

Is this a known characteristic of this model, or does it look like a defective monitor?

Is this dust or dead pixels? (also IPS glow/backlight bleed question)

ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5R (IPS)

Bought it 4 days ago...amazon.

Enough to return, correct?

Also, is that amount of backlight bleed (or IPS glow?) normal (last photo)?

Is this amount of backlight bleed normal for an IPS monitor? Should I return it?

Photo makes it look worse than it actually is, but the top-left and top-right corners are clearly worse and quite noticeable. The bleed is also uneven in those areas. (Worst is definitely top left)

The bottom part is barely noticeable and looks much more uniform (can't even notice the backlight bleed).

This is an ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q5R btw.

Ergonomic chair misaligned... fixable?

Plastic arms/brackets are clearly misaligned sideways (don't know if that obvious on pics, but probably not), which makes the backrest itself crooked (sideways) relative to the seat.

Any way to fix this?

Weird metallic noise during cruise...any ideas? (Cessna 150)

I was flying a C150 today when suddenly a loud, rapid TATATTATATATATATA (lol) sound started during cruise. It sounded almost like the starter motor grinding/chattering before the engine catches, but it sounded like it was coming from behind me (tail/fuselage area), not from the engine (again, could be wrong). It was audible enough to be alarming even with engine at crusing RPMs and headsets.

Some thoughs that crossed my mind (in order):

  • Wing is failing;
  • Engine is failing;
  • Elevator is failing;
  • Something hitting fuselage (maybe a part of the belt... but had to me metallic), and I was wearing full belt, so there is literally no way;
  • Aerial flicking and hitting the ceiling.

So:

  • It started in flight (around 30 minutes after reaching cruise altitude) and continued all the way until landing.
  • No change in engine sound or performance.
  • I checked if a seatbelt was hitting the fuselage (even opened and closed the door 2 times) — nothing.
  • No electrical issues noticed (no flickering lights, etc.);
  • It disappeared (or was less noticeable during climb).

I thought it might be an antenna (aerial) fluttering or flicking in the airflow, but I'm not sure.

I know it is a bit ...vague... but...as anyone experienced something similar in a 150/152? Common causes for this kind of noise?

Thanks in advance!
