We Are Fucked

San Diego Clippers fan here. After all the drama and stuff yesterday with the LA Clippers getting their first round draft picks removed, I’d like to know how this affects the G League team if at all? I don’t follow the NBA Clippers as much outside of the players they call up from our team I. Oceanside (Christie, Miller, Sanders, Yanic for a bit, etc.) but curious if they’ll use more of the G-League team to prop up the youth or if it’s gonna be the standard way of giving some (mainly two-way players) time to develop or if this doesn’t do anything and the Clips are just gonna focus on big names per usual instead of really helping elevate the youth. Would love to know as it’ll be critical for years to come, GO CLIPS GO!

SAN DIEGO VS EVERYBODY

Seeing Valakari being more effective in the role from the recent game and similar reasons with Corey Baird (yes I know, but he was able to work well in the formation esp during the playoffs) last year, you think a False 9 is better than working a pure Striker for the team? This could be a possible short-term solution if they wanna wait out the next DP slot (assuming they’re not going back to 4 U22’s) and play with a False 9 over the current striker options like Ingvartsen/Morgan.

For as much confusion the signing was when announced on one of our DP slots, honestly he is a baller. Love how he wants the ball at his feet and is willing to play physical in the limited minutes he had, he feels like he’s playing streetball out there with those fluent movements. Here’s hoping it works out as it seems like SDFC are gonna be using this “diamond in the rough” strategy for Designated Players in the future like both Dreyer & hopefully Elias is!

OH ELIAS ACHOURI

Elias Achouri our “big name signing” it is then

GO CLIPS GO, OSIDE BABY

Just want to give a quick shoutout to SDFC for some of the Filipino Heritage Night festivities as a fellow Fil-Am. There isn’t a lot of representation for Filipinos in soccer outside of the Women’s Team recently but glad to see a lot of Filipinos/Filipino-Americans come out to yesterday’s game! I hope the club does these ticket packages more as well for other countries down the line, i.e. what the Padres do for their heritage night ticket packages, especially with multiple representations around the world!!! (Also please be nice in the comments, everything doesn’t have to be negative about every single aspect about this club…it’s not that deep especially about the fans wise)
