All of the Celtics moves this offseason have helped the spurs

By signing Mitchell Robinson they make the knicks weaker and by trading Jaylen Brown they just got weaker making the 2028 swap more valuable. They also made the 76ers stronger so hopefully the Knicks are actually challenged in the eastern conference playoffs.

Do we agree that picking a top 10 talent with an asterisk at 20 is more exciting and less boring than picking an actual 20th overall level talent?

We should sacrifice fox to the expansion draft to dump his contract and protect the rest of the roster.

In the expansion draft the teams can only choose 1 player per team. If we leave fox unprotected he would almost certainly be taken meaning all our other players would be safe. It would also be an easy way to get rid of his contract to make space for maxing castle and harper.

Some of you guys are worrying too much about jayden quaintances injury risk

This guy is the second youngest player in the nba right now, a week older than cameron boozer. We have plenty of time and can afford to let him develop. Saying he will be another jeremy sochan doesnt make sense because his shooting just needs practice it isnt fundamentally broken like sochans shooting was. I initially wanted chris cenac but after finding out how high he wouldve been taken had he not been injured I think this is 100% the right choice for the spurs and I cant wait to see him play.

This game 1 reminded me of twolves game 1

Bad scoring night from fox and wemby but still a close game up until the very end. I think we will learn a lot from this game and bounce back for game 2.

The nba is 100% doing this horrible officiating to make sure the series goes to 7

This western conference finals has been huge for the nba in viewership and profit. My prediction is scott foster will officiate game 6 and the spurs will get several favorable calls. Then in game 7 they won't have any biased officiating and the team that is actually better will win.

If the knicks make the finals, it will be the 4th straight year the ecf winner is the ecf loser of the previous year.

In 2022 the heat lose to the celtics in the ecf, then win the ecf in 2023.

In 2023 the celtics lose to the heat in the ecf, then win the ecf in 2024.

In 2024 the pacers lose to the celtics in the ecf, then win the ecf in 2025.

In 2025, the knicks lose to the pacers in the ecf, now in 2026 they are the favorite to make it out of the east.

Was Tim Duncan ever actually a center?

Some people try to discredit Tim Duncan from being the best pf of all time by saying he was a center from the majority of his career. But when im looking at the starting lineups it looked like the spurs center was Robinson, then Rasho, then Nazr, then Oberto, then Mcdyess, then Blair, then Splitter, then lastly Aldridge. How do people make the argument that he only played power forward when he was with Robinson when the spurs kept getting new centers to let duncan play the 4?

Personally I would target Morez Johnson Jr (Fixing our need for a good 4) in the late first round and Henri Veesaar (Backup center in case victor or kornet are out) in the early second round. If they are taken early id try to negotiate a trade using the 42nd and 44th picks.

Celtics were my choice originally but now they are eliminated. In my opinion I think itll be winner of PHI/NYK. I hope its the sixers the spurs match up well against them.
