Is two leg days too many?

I see the most recommended split is push pull legs, but I have a disproportionately large ass compared to my underdeveloped legs so to remedy that and make my legs bigger, my split has been push, legs (quads), pull, legs (hamstrings and glutes). I do a three day gym week, and just do the next day based on the day I did before. But am I working legs too much? Will I prevent myself from actually building muscle if I’m doing a leg day every other visit to the gym? My legs are usually not sore by the time my next leg day rolls around, if that makes any difference.

Edit: well I guess today I learned that PPL is a 6 day gym week split, which I didn’t know - very much a gym beginner here, thanks for everyone who let me know. New question I guess is: if I’m still sore the next time I go to the gym, am I hampering my progress by working those sore muscles again? For example, my legs are usually still sore by the time I go to the gym for an upper body day on my current split. So I assume that I’d probably still be sore with each gym day if I did a full body day every time I went. Will that hamper my progress? Or do I just need to make sure I’m not pushing hard enough to get super sore? And sorry if these are dumb questions!

Masc body workout tips?

Disclaimer to start: I know every body is different, and will build muscle and hold fat differently. I’m not expecting miracles. That said, I’m looking for tips and pointers on workouts that you have found help with giving you a masculine shape. My ass is unfortunately very prominent and is a source of dysphoria for me, so I’m hitting legs really hard in order to help balance that out. But I’d love some pointers on exercises that help minimize the ass while maximizing pretty much everything else - hams, quads, even upper body stuff to help offset and build a broader profile up top that might also distract from this damn caboose.

Recommendation letters

Does anyone know if a recommendation letter for someone who’s nonbinary needs to specify that? I have a recommendation letter from a therapist saying I’m nonbinary with they them pronouns, and just got another one from a doctor saying I’m transitioning to male and have he him pronouns. The latter is a doctor I haven’t seen for a while, but at no point did I express wanting to transition to male so im not sure why they wrote my letter that way. Will this cause issues with my insurance approval for me to submit both? Should I have the doctor rewrite the letter for me, or does insurance just need to see that I have two letters recommending me for top surgery regardless of my identity?

Bigger folks - did top surgery take some adjustment?

I’m not a skinny person - I wear size 12/14 in women’s pants, 36 waist in men’s. I think I have a C or D cup chest at the moment, but that’s a guess as I haven’t been measured or worn anything with a cup in years. I’ve thought extensively about getting top surgery - whether full flat or reduction - as I am very uncomfortable with how my breasts currently look in clothes and pictures. But in recent weeks I’ve been assessing my body as a whole and wondering if getting rid of my chest would make me feel more dysphoric because of my stomach. With my chest, everything is fairly proportional. But without it, my stomach and ass will become my most prominent features and I’m kind of worried that that’ll make my dysphoria worse than before. Looking for experience and advice from folks in bigger bodies - did top surgery take some getting used to with the rest of your body taking up more of your awareness now that your chest is gone/smaller? Did it worsen your dysphoria at all?

Pomade recommendations for short fine hair?

I’m looking for pomade recommendations that will work for fine, straight hair. Without product, my hair gets very flat and doesn’t hold any movement or shape. I’ve been using texture powder for a few years now, and it works great to keep my hair from getting floppy or greasy. The only problem is that it’s causing buildup on my scalp and making my scalp start to flake pretty bad, even when I do semi-regular clarifying shampoo treatments. I want to try a pomade instead because I think that’s less likely to stick and build on my scalp than a powder - but I’m also open to guidance if I’m wrong about that lol. Thanks for any advice in advance!

Stages of voice changes on T?

Question for my butches on T, particularly those on low doses: I’ve been taking very, very low dose T for the last six months or so - half a pump of 1.62% gel every day. I’ve recently noticed that my vocal cords have felt tight, and my voice occasionally cracks or breaks as well, but only when I’m singing or raising my voice. I am really not interested in having a deeper voice. My voice is already a good amount of deepness for me, and I think if I started sounding like a man or being gendered as male based on my voice it would be worse for my dysphoria than being gendered as a woman.

I’ve heard that there can be stages of your voice cracking before actually dropping, and that’s what I want to know more about - how long did it take/what were the stages of your voice changing before it permanently dropped into a male range? I don’t want to have to stop T before it’s necessary, but I also want to be careful as to not get into the permanent changes territory without realizing it.

A bit nsfw but I had to put it somewhere

I’m about four months on super low dose T, and I just got out of the shower and was hanging out naked in bed and my partner comes in, notices my junk, and goes “😳 wow! It’s really growing isn’t it?” So that just made my day lol

I’m transmasculine nonbinary, and I’m wanting to get a radical reduction as opposed to full flat top surgery. I’ve seen a *lot* of nonbinary people express that they did a radical reduction because they still want to be able to appear feminine on certain days and androgynous on others. That is not even remotely my goal, even though I do still want to keep some breast tissue/shape. I feel like I’m not sure how to express why I still want a breast shape, albeit an extremely small one, and I’m concerned that I’ll either have to use pretty dysphoric language around describing my desired results or risk getting a more masculine size/shape than I’m looking for. Anyone have any advice on phrasing I can use?
