I got my Macbook Air today. Like many people, i ordered a midnight blue.
I didn't like it:

1. my previous MBA is space grey, dark but comfortable and professional. This midnight blue looks a bit strange and kind of gloomy.
2. the finger prints and smudges just too much. Anywhere you tough, it dull the look.
3. No other color textures have that problem -- smudges and dull with fingerprints.

what are my choices? I have lots of Apple devices are silver, including two other Apple laptops. I want a bit different color, but still speaks quality and professionalism.
I went to the store and looked the Star Light --- a little lame and soft. Silver--- i try to avoide. Sky blue may be only alternative to mid night blue....
what's your opinion?

I have a legit copy of MS Office for Mac 2016, which i have it on several Mac machines. In the past several years, each time I purchased a new Mac, I used Migration Assistant to copy the whole computer to a new one, without any problem with MS Office for Mac. (I do have legal activation code).

Today, i got a new Mac. As usual, I migrated an older computer to it. Now, all of a sudden MS Office for Mac is asking me to activate. Stranger yet, it didn't ask me for activation code, but need to have email address to type in and deliver a code. After entering a code from the email, it goes nowhere....

What could be the problem? I wish it woudl just ask for activation code...

I have several Mac at home, including a MBP M2 Max. However, I simply love my MBA being carried around... so sleek and so light.
The problem is I made a mistake two years ago by buying the default 8G memory. I need to open close to 100 tabs at the same time as well are editing several Word documents at the same time. Every time I open a new document or go to a new tab, often time there is a lag and take a couple of seconds to display the screen.
If you were me, would you replace it with a newer MBA? 24G or 16G? M4 or M5?

I have two Apple machines with 32G memory. (M2 max and M4 Pro).
What's the best free way to install Windows 11 on visualization machine? (just regular MS Office, etc.)
I have full Windows 11 pro licence (several).

I bought this monitor last September. I enjoy it. This is connected to two PC's and one Mac.
My keyboard and mouse are Logitech MX series.
Up until now, I have been using the switch in the back of the monitor to choose with computer it takes input from. I was told DDPM is not good at all.
What's the latest of on DDPM?
How does work anyway? Do I install the software on each computer? Does it have both Mac and Windows version?

How do I set up the mouse to perform gesture on Mac, specifically the swipe action left and right.

I have several brand new Mac and PC. I pulled out old Plextor PX-B310U Blur-ray drive. All my computers can recognize the drive.
However, when I put a disk in, computer shows nothing. I then put a DVD, it immediately recognize.
I goal is to use MakeMKV to rip BluRay disks.
Please help. Do I need to buy a new Blu-ray drive?
