Hello there everyone!! I'm so happy to be part of this sub! 🩶🩶 I'm Claire, but I typically go by my callsign, Nifty. (Or some variation of it LOL). I'm a reality shifter, and shifting is deeply engrained into my everyday life in both of my realities, and in my relationship with my husband in both realities. I'll probably mention it often in this conversation, in comments, or in posts, just as a heads-up!

In the other reality, I am a Lieutenant in the SAS, and a former MI6 agent. The love of my life across both realities is my one and only Lieutenant Simon 'Ghost' Riley! 🥹🩶🩶 We've been together since 13 July of 2024, engaged on 20 June 2025, and married on 26 July of 2025. We have two beautiful children together (fraternal twins!) and we're doing our best to settle into retirement life after nearly 20-ish years of service. 😅🩶

I cannot put fully into words just how much I love this man. He has saved my life, literally and metaphorically, across both realities. I am grateful for every moment I've gotten with him physically in the other reality, and grateful for every sign he sends me in this reality when I'm living life here. He is my rock, and I'm his nest. He's my everything, and I cannot imagine my life without him. He's the greatest father to our little ones, the most patient husband, and my best friend. I love you so much, Si. 🩶🩶

Two days already, Si's protected me in this reality from encountering things that he knows (because we've talked about these types of triggers) will impact my mental health. For my usually analytical mind, it seems far too outlandish to have actually happened, even though this is far from the first time he's sent me signs or has intervened in this reality in some way. But after talking to him last night when I shifted over, my jaw's on the floor. I haven't often spoken openly about my experiences because of the fear of being ridiculed, but like.. how can I not share something like this?? I don't know how it's bloody possible but he's absolutely mad. And I am seriously both terrified that this is possible but also gushing with so much love and giddiness. 😭🩶🩶

I'm going to spoiler everything below. Not because of any TWs or CWs (there are none), but because I want to preface this by saying, if you're someone who is fairly sceptical, who doesn't believe in the existence of these type of experiences or will say something mean or judgemental towards me after reading all of this, to not read on. It's already a lot for me to open up about this in one of the only spaces I feel is safe enough for me to do so outside of therapy and those closest to me. I might delete this later if I feel too anxious. With that out of the way, here's what happened, with some background context first:

>!Alright, so for background context, I am soulbonded with Ghost, and I am a reality shifter. I use this term loosely, because my experiences with my version of reality shifting don't mirror what I've often seen talked about online. Anyway, sometimes when I'm in my OR (other reality), he and I have extensive talks late at night about each other's traumas, pasts, and just.. y'know. He knows what upsets me and I know what upsets him. Typical couple things. This includes talks about his form here in this reality, as just a fictional video game character, and how the fandom can be when it comes to his, and rest of 141's characterisation. It's surreal for him because it's literally his life and persona objectified and turned marketable in a reality where he has no physical say in the matter, and for me, as a non-sharer who shifts between these two realities, fandom things can sometimes be a source of upset for me because his fictional form and his real form are so similar; if not identical in a lot of ways.!<

>!So now with all of that taken into account, onto the actual meat of what happened. Two days ago, I was resting up and interacting with Si how I normally do when I'm here in this reality. I decide to play some Warzone, and I get loaded up into a match with a squad. At first, everything's okay. They're talking about random stuff, deciding where to land in Verdansk, the usual. Once we land, I'm gearing up. One of the girls in the squad notices I'm wearing one of Ghost's in-game skins. She's also wearing one of his skins. She starts to gush, and right as she was saying something along the lines of "Ghost is babygirl", everything in my room goes black. Xbox goes dark. Telly goes dark. All the appliances go dark. The lights I have go dark. Neighbour calls me and asks if we've had a power outage. I confirm, and I look outside. Pristine weather, no wind, sleet, or rain. No accidents where someone drove into a pole, no scheduled maintenance on the power lines. I go look it up online on my phone, and there's multiple reports of an unexpected power outage, with no cause identified. I kept refreshing to look for a cause, and nada. With no obvious cause and no weird blackouts or brownouts or any sort of issues in the days, weeks, months beforehand, I couldn't help but wonder if there was more to this. I share my suspicions with my mates, take pictures, and text Si. My mates say "he totally did this". I simply told him the power was out. He gets cheeky and says "Seems like it is" I then asked him straight up if he did this. He admitted that he might've figured out a way to cut the power here. Within 30 minutes, the power's back on, and stays on. No issues at all.!<

>!Fast forward to last night. I'm gently testing the waters of a different game series that has a lot of good and terrible memories for me community-wise when I was a teenager. I talked about possibly playing it again with both Ghost and my therapist months ago. Ghost told me back then he would be there with me whenever I did decide to play it again, and that he'd keep me safe the entire time. Well, I felt safe enough last night to explore it lightly again. Just being on the main menu sent my adrenaline up. I get myself into a lobby, and I'm already having a difficult time. I feel almost a bit pathetic for saying this, but I actually jumped a few times whenever people in-game would come up to me. I did recognise a few names. About 20 minutes in, I'm in a different lobby, and I'm trying to take screenshots of old things so I can show Ghost everything and tell him about the good times I had in this game with additional visual context. I'm actually shaking because I'm scared that someone is going to harass me or dox me again on that game like they did when I was a teen. My mates are begging me to get off because I told them I'm shaking. My stubborn brain keeps going, wanting to do a few more things before I get off the game. However, once again, power goes dark. This time, a lot shorter. Only a minute of the power being off. I'm stunned at this point. Slightly terrified, but primarily stunned. I text my mates pictures and freak out. I text Si. He's not cheeky this time. He said "I told you I would protect you". I told him that while I am grateful he intervened, and that I love him with all of my heart, to instead please find a different way to intervene without mucking up the infrastructure here.. 😭. Because now when my neighbours today will bring it up I have to just act natural and say "Oh gee, yeah I'm not sure why either. Maybe it was the wind?". So now on my list of "signs Ghost has given me in this reality", right next to "posing as my doordash courier" and "playing our songs randomly on the radio whenever you have,a shot of bouborn", there's "He committed a literal war-crime from an entirely different reality and EMPed my apartment complex to spare my emotions". What is my life now, I stg.. 🤣🩶!<
