What are the odds that the team comes out worse after this act?

As we all know for this entire act the group has been under attack and we also know the government has been monitoring them for some time and had a time to make a good plan. So they obviously have the deck stacked against them and while we’ve seen that in Jojo plenty of times before (both literally and metaphorically) I can’t help but feel that this time is different, especially considering how well they came out of the first act.

We’ve finally seen their first offensive move of this act with Charming Man infiltrating the strike team very quickly but that doesn’t guarantee a victory. The team is trapped in the middle of the Ocean, has been located by John Rod, and have their identities known. Can they ever even go back to their normal lives at this point?

My guess is that they will need to come to the negotiating table or they will pay a heavy toll to get their hands on the lava rock.

There’s a lot of times in Jojo where it feels like it’s over but this really is one of them, it feels almost akin to Made In Heaven. Also with the length of the two previous parts we can probably assume we’re not even halfway done and unless were getting a big time skip or Jodio becoming President of the United States, I feel we’re in store for a big loss/regression.

As a side note, will the rock be able to interact with stands in any way?

My Map Idea - Tsavo Big Game Reserve

The Tsavo Big Game Reserve would be the ultimate big game hunting destination for African game nestled in the cradle of Kilimanjaro and would be meant as a final challenge for bold hunters who are prepared to be hunted by two man eating lions!

You have been called to Kenya to hunt two man eating lions which have been terrorizing the local population and distributing day to day life. These lions have been hunted for a year at this point and know all the classic traps along with having a keen smell for humans and good ears. They are devils which come out at night and retire to thick brush, caves, or dry river valleys during the day. Alongside that they can take an abnormal amount of damage. The worst part is though as you make your way through the reserve you know the man eaters are hunting you, especially at night. Alongside that you will sometimes hear screams of villagers from villages from miles away where you know a life has been lost. In single player the Lions can only be killed and harvested once each at which point they will automatically be taxidermy given to you as a thank you from the locals and government, the lions will be able to be posed as seen with the real pair in the picture. They will also give you two exclusive guns being the .405 Express (specifically to go after Class 10 game) and a white .303 Rifle with a Lion Livery. As a final reward for completing the hunt you will be given a noise and presence reduction when hunting on the reserve. In multiplayer sessions the lions are present and can be killed but they will respawn and can’t be harvested. Do you have what it takes to kill the devils of Tsavo?

Along with this there will be plenty of traditional African game. Elephant, Rhino, Giraffe, Hippo, Lion, Zebra, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Ostrich, and plenty other big African species. Along with the lions the other game could present challenges too such as Elephants being able to recognize you and preemptively attack, Rhinos being hyper sensitive to noise. Crocodiles who are waiting to jump out at you when you try to collect your kill at the waters edge. Leopards which can wake you in your sleep and prevent you from skipping the night. Stampedes that can crush you. The introduction of class 10 animals will be necessary for the Elephant, Rhino, and Hippo which will all have unique challenges about how they are hunted in addition to being the only animals which cost money to hunt with 5k per hippo, 10k per Rhino, and 20k per Elephant.

The weather would also be immensely important being mostly dry in the plains but during rainstorms dry valleys would fill up locking you in a single area, possibly away from the safety of structure.

Would this make the other African Map Mostly Obsolete? Yes? Would it be Cool? Also Yes? I was a little disappointed by the African map by just how many species it missed and I would also like to see some niche and rare ones like Bongo Antelope and Ostrich. They could also add some more small game to Vurhonga Savanna like Flamingo, Aardvark, Serval, ect. This map would be meant for the big ticket items, what animals would you like to see?

Help with what to do (missing package?)

This is a very important package and the expected delivery date was yesterday, I’m ok when mail gets delayed, stuff happens, but I wish I could at least get another update on where my package is as it’s been almost a week of no updates. It’s insured but I’m still very much hoping it’s just been delayed by the storms and hasn’t gone missing! Do any of you have a similar experience and could tell me what steps to take next, thank you.

Three hilarious panels from Phantom Blood

The first one is my favorite because why did Dio just decide to pull out a firework? Why did he have the firework? If he lost to Jojo would he have pulled the firework out as a backup? Why did Araki bother to draw this? Why were the other guys so impressed about a lame ahh firework? How much could there possibly be to teach about throwing a firework into the water? It’s just the stupidest thing. The other two panels are pretty funny also.

The Zoo In Real Life

I recently got to go to Hawaii and while waiting for a late flight figured I would go and check out the current location of our gang.

As you can see Araki obviously used the Honolulu Zoo as a reference for the zoo, carefully renamed ‘Zoo’. Right in front of the zoo are a couple Banyan Trees (like 3 trees in real life) that Usagi references as a ‘Banyan Forest’.

The only thing a little off is the neighborhood being directly behind the zoo in real life as opposed to what seems to be adjacent in the manga. The zoo is located right across from Waikiki Beach fyi. Also worth noting that in this recent chapter Dragon says she’s going to feed the assailant's tongue and eyeballs to a Flamingo, and the Flamingo is actually the first animal you see when entering the zoo. I didn’t go in because I didn’t have too much time but I assume the interior of the zoo is more or less correct. Funny enough as I took the photos an ambulance drove right by, thought for I second I was gonna look down to see a sticker on my own foot.

Very cool to know that I was standing where the goat once stood as well. I wonder what animal was his favorite when he went.
