Moving soon and I'm looking for possible places to be.

- commute should not be a hassle and if possible 20-40 mins away from CBD

- I don't really need a big spaces like a (front/backyard/ garage), 40-50sqm is plenty for me.

- mostly spend my time lounging or on my computer

- usually go out for necessities like going to work or buying groceries

- taking walks or a big park would be great sometimes, but not really into hiking

- beaches or swimming pools if possible?

Currently, I have some workmates living in cragieburn and footscray. They mostly recommend footscray

I finally got my 190 grant! I’m excited but migrating is a lot of work.

I was given 1 year from grant to move (apr 2027) and i’m thinking of maximizing it by maybe moving in 1Q 2027 (March/Apr). Will there be any implications or consequences for this decision?

The reason I need the time is I need to save more money for emergencies (likely 1 yr living expenses) and try to find a job before moving there.

Also I’m not in my home country, but working in another country. Which means I need to settle things (taxes, finances, relationships) in my home country and my current working country..

Finally got the golden email! Now how do I find a job while being offshore? Can’t risk moving without a job waiting in these times…
