Has anyone managed to get an interview or job at NEXT?

Every time I've applied I've gotten rejected, even when a new available role lands on the page I'm quick to apply yet nothing! Can anyone who's gotten a job there have advice because this is ridiculous.

(screenshots arent the full list but my point is clear)

Pinning release versions again?

(I'm a Capitano main who made various theories and suggestions from 5.3-5.8 on my shadowbanned account, Realm-of-the-Darkisd)

Bit of a rant.

If you were a Capitano main present in the sub during Natlan you'd know that from 5.3 onwards we theorised he'd return 5.6-5.8. It was mainly 5.6 or 5.8 if I remember correctly. Ironically I was one of the believers that thought so too. We thought we had the evidence, pretty good theories too, and some basis as for why he'd release in that exact one.

As it turns out nothing happened. Though after 5.6 most people stopped caring. The reaction to Escoffier was visceral. Most were in agreement by 6.0 that he'd come back at some time and probably be playable then or later.

Ever since 6.6 I've been seeing new theories about his release. As a main I stopped paying attention to the subreddit this patch cycle, only tuning in if there's content referencing him. Of course, I was surprised people were basically redoing what we do again, but with even less reasoning to their arguments.

I get the idea that it's hope, but it sounds like some people are extremely convinced that it'll happen which isn't great, as we'd end up yet again with a doompost period like when Escoffier, Skirk, and Ineffa released. Which isn't healthy for the subreddit.

I mean some are starting to believe he's never gonna release when 1. the game proves that's not the case, 2. it's simply hoyo dangling a carrot on a stick. It builds hype, anticipation and obviously money for Hoyo with their strategy. Nothing new in the gacha industry. So believe me - he will get up AND be playable. Trying to pinpoint a specific version however is a wasted effort that's been done before.

I think it's more okay to estimate, just not saying 7.4 will be his release because... patterns show... Patterns have been broken over and over now. One pattern already broken are release numbers - we're getting 2 new characters in the starting regional patch as opposed to 3 since Sumeru. Minor as it is it proves the point. Another would be NPCs getting unique designs similar to playables.

So... can we have an open mind and not go crazy with late 7.x character release leaks? The major thing to focus on currently is how he gets up and once Snezhnaya releases, content that touches on his character.

I've had a crush I've liked for years, and I'm not sure if there's any hope.

I've had a crush on a gay friend of mine since secondary school (5 years ago). It's one of them 'at first sight' that just happened. But I feel like we're at a stage where I don't think things can move forward and that I lost my shot fully. At the same time I'm unsure if that's the case.

The jist is after self-admitting my crush after a personal criss back then he didn't give a yes or no on whether or not we could date. After that we became friends EXCEPT we didn't hang out or anything as I was homeless at the time, and lived quite far (I've never told him this). So whenever we discussed doing things during the holidays and summer I'd push things off or make stupid promises I couldn't keep, which because financial problems (again I never mentioned this) wouldn't allow it.

However we still chatted regardless. About dating each other, moving out and living in the same place. Teenage love talk and all that. Things did heat up (NOT IN A BAD WAY) as a few times we'd exchange flirty messages one summer before our final year of school. After that we drifted as it was our exam year. My major flaw at the time was communication - I always waited for a message back from people. When I never got one I'd say nothing - not even take the initiative to message back.

So we had a long period of time of non-contact until we chatted a bit before exams. From then on until right before college we chatted again - back to flirting a bit, casual talk etc. But then I fucked up - I removed him off my socials as I wanted to move on, and felt we weren't progressing. Bare in mind this was me in my first year of college - I had the time & money to spend so we could hang out. Yet even that slipped my mind as I turned to focusing on my degree while removing him without a word.

Then I went on to add him back. He found it amusing but wasn't pissed off. He's never gotten mad at my antics. Chatted a bit after and before Christmas. Then around spring I believe I removed him again. I then added him again last year November. But I made no attempt to do anything - except that one time my friends sent joke messages that he laughed at.

This year I felt more stabilised and affirmed than ever - I made the leap to talk with him again in April about restarting our friendship and dating. Here comes my second issue that I've specifically had with him - I tend to not be direct and clearly say what I want and mean. It used to be a problem I had with everyone, as I struggled with speaking difficulties as a kid trying to make sure of what I'm thinking in head out. With him I can never say what I truly want in straight words of anxiety, hyper-excitement etc.

Said chat didn't amount to much except him saying that he wasn't sure what I was trying to say, what my end goal was, and that the talks we had before didn't amount to anything so he doesn't see it how I do. Since this message would be a pain to edit and fit every detail in - it wasn't a refusal or acceptance again. Just thinking about it. We chatted again in June where he was talking about making a hinge profile (a dating app). I forgot to mention that he did ask me the year before if I was searching for someone obviously I wasn't at all though said he was.

Nowadays we don't really chat at all. I just send reals (the sexual jokes ones) that he reacts to with laughing emojis.

I'm not sure what to do. Again my circumstances - lack of a job (busy searching for months, trust me) and financial circumstances hold me back from planning hangouts. I'm super tempted though just to ask him 'Is there any possibility of us dating?' or along those lines. I don't want to as it sets up expectations that might be broken, gives the wrong idea. I don't know.

I also don't want to admit why we never hung out or anything as it feels like I'd be pressuring him for an answer. Am I overthinking? I do that a lot.

Apologies, again this is a highly abridged version with not every detail of our relationship said. That can be provided in the comments if asked. I did go to my two (girl) friends about this with greater context and they believed based on what I showed he was still interested in me. Though being the dense guy who easily fucks up, I wouldn't know...

Date expectations

His arc will likely take place in 7.6. x.6 vers have included the 2nd weekly boss, the full Bakunawa will 100% be it.

Assuming no adjustments in patch lengths, 7.4 will be the Lantern Rite. 7.5 the post-patch. 7.6 starts 28 April, right before the Orthodox Easter (Julian Calendar) on 2 May. It would be a good parallel to have him return then.

Calculating the dates, he may very well release in 8.3, which starts 11 January. This is in line with current Harbingers releasing in a month that is the same as their rank. Might I add that he might potentially be the main push and/or 'Archon' for Khaenri'ah, hence why I've believed 8.3 and it is quite fitting.

I will also say that there are two eclipses in January 2028, in particular there's an Annular Solar Eclipse.

Note that I have added an extra day to the 42 patch cycle to represent the downtime between updates.
