Is be able to speak german helpful in finding a job in aerospace engineering

I am a freshman in college and i have been studying german as a hobby but was wondering if it would also be an asset when finding a job.

I understand that if anything it is a secondary skill and that projects, internships etc are more valued but is it any help at all.

Should i wait to read nietzche in german?

I’ve been reading philosophy for several months now and i have yet to touch any nietzsche. i have also been studying german as somewhat of a leisurely activity and i wanted to ask if it is worth holding off on nietzche till i can read him in german, or atleast hold off on Thus Spoke Zarathustra or his most significant works. I’m in no rush to read nietzche and was wondering if reading in german is that much better than whatever is the best translation of him.

Considering taking a public speaking class in college.

I was wondering what a public speaking class is like. What are the first type of speaking assignments you do? do we do smaller speeches in front of smaller groups or smth to build you up to a speech in front of the class or do we just get thrown in the deep end? would the people there be good at this stuff will i be the only one so timid i could not bear for people to not only see me as the wimp but also worse for them to pity me if i do bad

Is this a good reading order for schopenhauer ?

1)On the Fourfold Root of the Principle of Sufficient Reason
2) The World as Will and Representation 3) 2 fundamental principles of ethics 4) on the will in nature
5) Parerga and Paralipomena

I understand i can probably just read the world as will immediately or wtv but i dont want to, as long as nothing here is redundant i dont mind

Can someone clear the air for me

forgive me for the lack of correct terminology, i am a beginner but I’m having trouble understanding what gives riffs, licks, melodies or in a word, a sequence of notes their (feeling?). Not necessarily the mood of the song as, if i’m correct that has to do with the key of the song which i think i have a sufficient grasp on; what i mean is the particular feeling a particular sequence of notes produces; for example, some riffs produce a “rush“ feel, some give a bounce to the song, some produce a sort of spacious effect, etc. Is it the sequence of the degrees of the key that does this? how would i go about reproducing a desired feeling in a sequence of notes?
