Clover (?) and Frogfruit

Has posted here previously, I killed off all my grass and planted frog fruit. The frog fruit seems to be doing really well and there is some native grass poking up. More concerning, there appears to be a lot of clover.

I’m not entirely sure what type of clover this is and whether or not it is going to outcompete my frog fruit.

To be honest, unless there is a serious concern, I will probably just let the frog fruit and clover battle it out. The only thing I really don’t want is the weedy grass.

If you have thoughts on what type of clover this is or the idea of competing against each other, I would appreciate your insight.

Frogfruit and Clover

In the front yard of a property we own, I killed off all the grass over a period of weeks. I then had someone come in and tilt and then installed almost 300 frog fruit plants approximately 16 inches apart. It has been two weeks. For the first week I watered twice a day, now I am watering daily.

The good news is that the frog fruit is established and growing. The bad news is I am getting lots of grass and I am picking the grass out twice a week by hand.

The really surprising thing is the clover. Clover just started growing spontaneously. I’ve never had any clover in this yard and did not seed for it.

I am tempted to spray the clover with round up or something similar. My other thought is I just let it grow and let the frog fruit and clover be in competition with each other.

The real end game is having something I don’t have to mow and not having any grass at all.

I would love to hear anyone’s thoughts or suggestions

$90 shipped in n USA. Open to offers.

This is a network I installed in a rental property two years ago. It has been flawless. It served 2100sqft.

TP-Link Omada Full Network: ER605 v2 router TL-SG105PE Poe switch EAP235 (two) in wall access point EAP610 access point I also had an NVR/Camera system attached (not for sale).

Upgrading due to give of new network gear. Works very well. The two EAP235s (in wall) come with appropriate mounting bracket. The EAP610 is mounted to a custom printed bracket for attaching to a wall (was in a closet).

It took some doing, but the watch strap that u/Intrepid_Dress made for me finally got here. None of the holdup was on his end, it was all a shipping issue beyond his control.

He and I discussed the strap I wanted, and he made exactly the perfect strap for this watch. It perfectly fits the vintage aesthetic.

I couldn’t be more thrilled with the end result.
