Something Fun
A little whimsy with my evening coffee
[Casio LA-20WH] Daughter’s First Watch
I ordered a Casio LA-20WH for my daughter and gave it to her today. She loves playing with my watches and I thought she’d appreciate her own seeing as mine don’t fit her and pink is her favorite color this one seemed fitting. I also don’t think a 4 year old can break a Casio and if she did what’s $20 for another.
Black with Cream
The Sea Ghost doesn’t get a lot of wrist time but it’s right at home when it does.
Late Night Repairs
Heading out tomorrow for my friend’s wedding and of course today the wife’s car’s brake wear light popped on and the exhaust valve motor spring broke. Good news is now everything’s fixed and ready for the 3 hour trip in the morning
Coffee, Watch, Morotcycle
Great riding weather and a nice black coffee to get the day rolling
Sea Ghost
Haven’t worn this in a long time. Now that it’s back on the wrist I remember how comfortable it wears.
Late Night Fix
Had my Doxa help me replace the tank to bowl bolts and gaskets in my daughter’s bathroom.
SAK For Wife
I want to get my wife a SAK for her purse, and everyday carry. She’s never had a pocket knife before but I have always carried a pocket knife. However she is very into crafting and we have 2 soon to be 3 small kids. And having a pocket knife to open snack/ drink containers, get the back of toys open for battery changes, and a bottle opener/ cork screw for when you need to unwind can be handy. I know what I just mentioned basically is the tinker in a nutshell and I am leaning this direction. But before buying one do any of y’all have a different recommendation? Leaning SAK because they are light, easy to use, and cheap. My wife doesn’t need the fanciest steel, or quickest open, or most comfortable handle. Not that I don’t want that for her, it’s just not her use case. Anyways thanks for any/ all recommendations!
Flight School During Layover
Passing the time during my layover at DFW with some ground school and a black coffee.
Slow Morning
Running late for work but enjoying some coffee and watch while I wait for the car wash to finish up
Swim Test
Put the Doxa to use at my son’s first swim class. Pics are from the sitting area so nothing close up but the orange dial is instantly recognizable.

Took my dad’s Se/L out of the box for the day. Felt fitting seeing as I’m on dad duty, and out in the yard the way he used to be. I’ve always loved the vintage quartz Tag Heuer’s from the 80’a and 90’s even though Tag gets a lot of hate for that time period. But to me these watches have a ton of character and charisma. Also the quartz movement just makes them so light and thin, with the bracelet on the Se/L hands down being the most comfortable in my collection. What are y’all’s thought on the Tag’s of this era?
Doxa day, after weeks of rain it’s finally dry enough to ride!
