I have a bunch of Pokémon on my copies of Sun & Ultra Sun. Shinies, Region champion team, legendaries, etc. I know that Pokémon bank was “dead” but I’m not sure what that means. I want to bring them into my copy of Scarlet…

I live in Sacramento California, do I need to go to asking around the city looking for people with the Pokémon Bank software already installed and ask pretty please?

I have the free version of Home on my switch but the last time I transferred anything between games was from Omega ruby to Sun a decade ago. What should I do?

Some people, apparently, while playing Last Ship Standing, complained that sometimes they had multiple people use bone callers on their ship. The ensuing many skeletons (that also die in one sword dash and one bullet from most guns) proved too "overwhelming" for them. They complained to Rare, and now we get this:

The number of skeletons that will be spawned by an individual player when throwing a Bonecaller offensively on a different ship are as follows:

• Sloop - 1 skeleton
• Brig - 2 skeletons
• Galleon - 3 skeletons

They are making this apply to Adventure as well, where Diving has rendered unplanned encounters between more than two ships literally rarer than the Yellow Megalodon.

Bone callers are one of the most fun, interesting, innovative, unique, and BALANCED things they've ever added, and now, because the same double-gunning, PvP ONLY lobbyists that asked for quick swapping to be made base-kit didn't like that there was a tool that slightly inconvenienced them in their private Arena 2.0 mode, now we are being robbed of one of the purest pieces of FUN left in the game.

The bone caller is FINE. Not too strong and not too weak (yet apparently). They are rare enough that they are used only a few times in battle (unless there is some duplication glitch we don't know about), and the skeletons are weak enough that they are at most a nuisance in the instances where they are used. More importantly, this is a waste of time! There are many more things that need attention, and they're choosing to make the game less fun?? The bone caller is the only way to give yourself a chance at boarding sloops that ladder guard with a blunderbuss. It forces them to take their eyes off the ladder and cycle their gun for a split second. The timing has to be PERFECT, but we can't have that.

I'd like to pose a question. A bit of a community survey. If you care to, at the top of your comment say "AYE" if you like bone callers and wanna keep em. If you don't and want to see them gutted, put "NAY" at the top.

My partner and I are at an impasse over the last name our kid(s) will have.
We both agree that we want her name to be included because well, she’s doing the 9 months of growing and birthing and putting her career on hold and having her biology change and all that. However we disagree about the names.

One of us suggested we hyphenate so First, LastA-LastB. Like in Hispanic culture (which one of us is from). But the concern is that it’s long, clunky, inconvenient, and the name that is easier to say/write will cause it to be favored over the other

The other suggestion(s) is to split the last name between two kids. So kid q will be First, LastA and second kid will be First, and LastB. The concerns with this one is that it’s excluding one parent’s last name from one kid and causing a divide between siblings as to last names.

Another solution is similar to this previous one but to use middle names as a place for the other parent’s last name and vice verse with the other kid but that one raises similar issues.

Another solution was using neither last name and creating a new hybrid last name that is a hybrid of both parent’s last name.

No solution has come out as acceptable to both parents and we are at an impasses.

What are some solutions and Pros/Cons to these problems and solutions?
