[OT] 55 y/o Memo Gidley (Audi R8 GT3) going door to door into the museum section at Barber en route to the GT America title

Bonus pics because that R8 is a thing of beauty. The V10 symphony is also not bad whatsoever.

Ladies and gentlemen, peak has arrived

Got into the Persona series with P5R and have been retracing my steps since. Played P3R and had a blast with it, but heard that the original and FES pulled far fewer punches than the remake. So, once I take care of P4G (and grab a RetroTink) this is gonna be what fills up my 20 y/o memory cards.

Tips for creating a western player in Pro Spirit 2026?

Hi all,

I'm new to the Pro Spirit franchise with this current iteration, and I was curious if anyone here had some tips or advice for creating a western/American player for Star Player mode. I've been using the random "international player" recommendations and building from there, but none of those have really panned out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

News regarding the changes to the characters of Persona 4 Revival

Looks like things will be softened up for the, ahem, MODERN AUDIENCE

My fellow diecasters, how're we feeling about IXO thus far? What would you like changed, improved, etc?

Unrelated photo of (some) of my Greenlight/Action diecasts.

Jody Plauché wondered how the Redheaded Libertarian got more likes on a Father's Day post about his dad than he did. Cue the dark humor.

What are you expecting out of the first IndyCar game in over 20 years?

Alright, buckaroos. The new IndyCar game from iRacing should be well underway by now... I'd hope. My question to you is, what do you expect from it? Feel free to put your dream list of features below too, but realistically speaking, what do you think we'll see?

Here's my guess on the big features:

  1. In depth career mode, featuring Indy NXT and the main series. iRacing do have the USF and Indy Pro cars, but that would likely be way too much for a console-focused career mode, despite them being fun as hell to drive.

  1. Team owner mode. Imagine being Prema... but with money! I think that'd be a fun mode to bring in. You could even start with an Indy NXT squad and work your way up. I think that'd be cool.

  1. Banger soundtrack. If the NASCAR game is anything to go by, the soundtrack will be top notch. I will take some Breaking Benjamin or Powerman 5000, pretty please.

  1. Maybe a challenge mode? Kinda like the Thunder challenges from the old NASCAR Thunder games? Example: you take over as Pato in 2024, trying to hold off Cody Rhodes Homelander Josef Newgarden. I think that'd be neat.

Now... onto the pipedreams.

  1. Historic cars and tracks. iRacing has the IR-05 and earlier DW-12 variants available on the service. Maybe we could see them in the game too? Doubt it. But it'd be cool nonetheless. I pray for the day they drop the late 90s CART Reynard into iRacing. Same goes for historic tracks. Imagine a scenario where you take over as Marco in 2006? That'd be awesome.

  1. FOX presentation. Modern sports games have long lost the art of realistic presentation. I'd love to see a full FOX broadcast package going into the race weekend. Maybe incorporate a podcast like Speed with Harvick and Buxton for inter-week updates?

  1. Custom schedules. Doubtful that this would happen, but man it would rule if we could do custom schedules in like a "league" mode.
