First nighthaunt!!

“Finished” my first nighthaunt. Probably the most fun I’ve had painting. I really tried experimenting and getting out of my comfort zone! Still pretty new to painting and I would LOVE all tips and advice. (Also what shades do you guys use?)

Pro acryl paints?

Hello! I want to start painting nighthaunt and my local game store has a deal with pro acryl so their paints are a little cheaper. I was just wondering what colors by them I could use for standard bluish green and similar. Also, any other brand recommendations would be appreciated as well. Thanks

Beginner painter ancient.

Surprisingly happy with how this ended up. The flag was pretty difficult but fun! It’s cool to see myself improve. Any and all tips greatly appreciated. (Side note should the captain helmet be white as a veteran?)

Books with massive cover downgrades?

I just found out that the boys in the valley by Phillip Fracassi has an alternate cover instead of the one of the boy holding the knife in the snow and was very disappointed. Such a cool cover downgrade to just a foggy house in the woods. What other books have original or alternate covers that are way better than some re-releases (or the other way around?)

Books on the Israel Palestine conflict?

Hello all! I was just wondering if anyone knew of good books talking about the history of the conflict. I’m looking for a non-partisan look (which is unlikely I’m sure) but i want to learn more about the topic so anything would help! Thank you

If I had a nickel for every time Utah is in a story…

I’d have 2 (3 if you count the Ute Indians) nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice. As an Utah resident I just thought it was funny cuz we have no representation in most things.

First exorcists (almost) done!

My second time ever painting and my first time doing exorcists! Actually really proud of how these look for being a beginner and I think I really like my chaplain. Just need to do the eyes!! (Also any and all tips are welcome and encouraged. How do I make it so some of the brush marks don’t show?)

First time painting

Hello! I just bought the Armageddon box and wanted to paint exorcists for it! I’ve painted sons of the phoenix before but wanted to do these! What colors for red would you recommend? I think I want the slightly darker color which would be maybe just a wash? Thanks!!

IM BACK and painted!

Hello everyone! I posted back here a few weeks ago asking for tips on how to paint them and I finally did it! I wouldn’t go so far to say I’m happy with the results but 1. I need more white paint and 2. Need to buy better brushes. So they’re technically not finished but they’re getting close. I accidentally broke one marine so I’ll have to glue him together. I found the hardest part to be priming tbh because my first marine I primed waaaay too heavy and he’s a little chunky. (Side note is it worth it to put in alcohol and repaint?) but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped me and gave me pretty great tips! Any more on these pictures are more than welcome too!!

Hey everyone! I’ve been a warhammer fan going on about 3-4 years now and I think I wanna finally give painting a try. Ever since I heard the theory of SOTP being emperors children successors along with color I became a huge fan. Wanted to give painting them a shop and was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice. Thank you guys
