My first partscaster! Tele build
This is my first partscaster! Got the body off a Rondo Music thinline tele that I traded for. I took a gamble and bought the neck from a random EBay seller that seemed to have decent reviews. Luckily, the neck is wonderful! It was my first time drilling holes in a neck and I’m pretty sure it’s slightly off but it plays great so I’m okay with it lol. The pickups are a set of Fender TexMex tele pickups and they sound pretty good. Most likely going to replace them in the future and maybe add an s-1 switch to put the pickups in series but for now I’m happy with it. I’ve never played another Tele before so I’m not sure how it compares but it definitely plays nice. Just posting to hear everyone’s thoughts!
