As the title says, I have an interview at my local Sallys tomorrow and I have no clue what to wear. I’ve worked at more casual places before but I feel like Sallys are typically more professional than an average retail job. Would jeans and a tee-shirt be okay? I know this is a stupid question but I’m a chronic overthinker so I wanna be prepared and make a good impression!! 🙏🙏🙏
I’ve gone to her a few times and she’s always been great but I had my hair cut last night and she cut my bangs FAR too short and I’m so upset. Otherwise the cut is great but like. Shit 😭
I can’t style my hair the way I would anymore because of how short the bangs are now and i definitely won’t read as scene now. I’m gonna trim them up into some baby bangs because that’s basically the length now. I can salvage the style and make it cute and wearable but I just won’t look scene for a while until I grow them out and style them myself and I’m just so sad about it ☹️☹️ I don’t wanna post any pics because it just looks so bad but here’s a very crude diagram (right is what I had/wanted, left is what I got)
Im working on a doll, and Ive looked at multiple tutorials and have been yarning under like they say, but it just doesn’t look the same as it does in the videos. Is it just the yarn itself, or is there something else I can do differently? I’ve tried with different yarns and it just won’t work, and I’m really not sure where I’m going wrong. Any help is appreciated!!!!
I’ve been using silicone patches for a while to help my scars fade, but i don’t know why I’m paying for them and trying to make an effort to fade them when I can’t stop cutting myself. I feel like I’m just wasting money and I’m stuck in an endless loop at this point. I feel like a total idiot. I’m super embarrassed of my scars and do everything I can to hide them in public, but I just CANT STOP cutting. It’s like I get caught up in the moment, it’s basically muscle memory at this point when I’m upset. I dont exactly want to/care about recovering or reducing my cuts either. Ive started doing them in places I can hide easier/places that are always covered so I don’t have to worry about fading the scars.

This is probably a very stupid question but sometimes when I’m handling her, I’ll have a video or show playing on my computer and she’ll like get really into staring at the screen (I think because of the movement) and I’m not sure if that’s bad for her or not. She doesn’t seem stressed by it or anything, but she’ll stare at the screen totally motionless with her antennas pointing towards the screen like she’s totally focused on it 😭😭😭 I try not to let her do this because I’m worried it stresses her out even tho it doesn’t seem to. Am I being paranoid pls help…. I cannot let her turn into an iPad kid
I bought a dubia feeder colony for my mantis and found this little guy. He doesn’t look freshly molted like I’ve seen online, he just seems like a lighter/golden version of a regular dubia. Is this some kind of color morph? I’m definitely gonna keep an eye on him to see if the color stays after a molt. I’m not too familiar with dubias so if this is a normal thing then just ignore me 😭🙏
I’m also looking to start an enclosure/colony of my own. I keep millipedes, mantises, and snails so I had experience keeping inverts. If anyone has advice on starting and keeping a healthy colony of dubia roaches, I’d appreciate it a ton!!
