I speak as a carer and some of my visits are not silver surfers with SKY Q boxes, some can barely see as is and mainly they just want to put the TV on and watch Bargain Hunt or Casualty. But they end up with this Crystal Maze of menu systems, aggravating popups demanding email addresses and passwords and it it's just bewildering, I frequently have to help in a task as simple as putting the TV on. All these Amazon Fire or Internet TVs are no help either, they require a collection and half the day to merely set up. What's wrong with having just a basic, idiot-proof TV these days?
