What Organisations should I apply to for internships?

This is confusing me for so long.

My friend here applied to ONGC for some reason, even though we both are ECE students. I don't understand the relation between oil and natural gas with electronics and communication.

Our teacher did suggest Jio, and given its related to communication it makes sense.

Here's the thing. I'm maybe toe deep (yup not more than that) in python and ai— integrating it with embedded systems is kind of my aim.

So far, I have been creating small ai models and iot models to learn about both side, and maybe in a sooner future I hope to integrate them as my personal project.

That's one thing. Other is distance. My family won't let me join internships outside my home city (kolkata). Which makes sense cause till now I haven't stayed in hostels or went solo somewhere far where I had to stay the night, and obviously I won't be sitting in my home all my life (jobs or better opportunities) but to leave so suddenly for an internship is basically inexperienced me climbing too high in one go. The fall won't be good.

Also I don't know if it's of any importance, but I can write fairly well. Though I'm not a professional. All i have written and uploaded are too many legend retellings, some short stories, and a bunch of essays to analyse Hinduism's history and characters in mahabharata (which got quite a bit audience response atleast). But I try to write book reviews, movie reviews etc on a frequent basis, and I came to know that article and review writing are quite good freelancing jobs— so I hope to try it out to see what the modern market wants and if my writing is really profitable or not.

Ofc, if I intern as somekind of technical writer (saw that it's possible for engineering students) but it probably won't have the same effect on the cv as someone doing an actual hands-on job.

But I don't have neither the idea nor the knowledge of what they do in the RW industries. Like, definitely not small time personal projects or experiments we do in labs. So, how would I be of much help

So what should I exactly do? Plz Help.

[CW] Want to use my character(?): A fire type Bard-Warrior who sings and fights! (Description In the body)

Ok here's a concept for a fantasy warrior-bard character.

Crimson 'Blazehymn' Fireblood.

He is a wandering bard with a lute and a harp who plays music highlighting social absurdity and institutional absurdity, criticizing the church, the temples and the royalty and councils of different countries.

How he keeps both the instruments?

Ans: He uses a magical bag that can store anything inside. Helps him carry the large harp.

Backstory: He is the scion to the famous Fireblood family who are famous for their fire magic. They hold many important places in the kingdom of Estrachia, and Crimson is the son of the Patriarch.

He became a 'Fire Sage', great mages born only every 500 years at only age of 6 by passing the Trial of Ignis (Ignis is the God of Flames). He is a great warrior and mage, and was heir to the title of 'Patriach' as well.

However, he hated fighting and participating in wars, and more than anything he loves singing. This causes a rift between him and his family, and one day he secretly leaves to start his life as a bard.

The Twist?

His lute conceals a sword/blade. He is a great warrior and fire sage, so whenever he sees people in problem, or disasters incoming, he uses his sword and fire magic to combat and defeat them. His harp too doubles as a bow where he can use his sword/blade as an arrow to land a legendary attack.

I thought of this character sometime ago, but I neither have an idea for the plot nor any wish to go with such a story now.

So I was wondering, if the r/writingprompts community will be interested in using this character for their stories!? If so, post your stories in the replies, or give a link if you upload a story using him anywhere.

Even illustrations are welcome! (Ik this ain't the subreddit for that lol, but I would so love to see my character in picture...hehe)

I kinda find this comparison convincing.

I mean it's not new in this sub about iskcon's philosophy diversion from prevalent Hinduism, even from its Gaudiya Vaishnavism darshans.

Atleast in certain foreign iskcon materials we do find this concept of krishna trinity, shiva-shakti being demigods etc - concepts directly borrowed from christianity and simply 'hinduinized'. I mean the difference between Bhagavad Gita and their version is quite known.

So I kinda find this comparison interesting.

Mormonism detaches christianity of its middle-eastern roots and Americanizes the faith with new America based lore and prophet.

It's because it was born from American Christians, just like Iskcon outside has high Christian influences.

I don't want to offend any religion, but sects like Ahhamadiya in Islam or Navayana in Buddhism can be put in a similar category, can't they be?

I am kinda confused so how as to authorities work, so these were a few questions I have:

  1. I always believed the reason Satella can appear to Subaru is because she is alive (sealed but not dead). But now that we see Petelguese and Regulus living in Subaru's psyche after he inherited both sloth and greed, does that mean previous users do exist in the sub-conscious of their successors?

Does that mean Minerva exists for Sirius or Echidna did for Regulus?

  1. Why did Subaru get the authority of greed? Reinhard was the one to kill Regulus physically tho...and if authorities are passed over by killing previous users, does that mean >!Ram will inherit the Gourmet aspect of Gluttony?!<

  2. Gluttony confuses me. Why does Daphne inherit all 3 together while the Gluttony brothers earn the 3 aspects separately?

  3. Petelguese gets his authority from a box. Subaru by defeating the previous holders. And Typhon suddenly gets it with a simple realisation. What's happening here?

  4. How were the witches using their power while the archbishops existed simultaneously during the sanctuary arc? Is it that the sanctuary was a special dimension?

  5. Petelguese mistook Subaru as the Archbishop of Pride, and he even adopted the name in Pride IF, but if really RBD is the authority of envy, then can Subaru be called the Sin Archbishop of Envy?
