How often do y'all wash your NATO strap (if you use one) and do you have any tips?

I recently got diagnosed with light or mild gout when I get the flair ups. For those who wear safety toed boots to work in like blue collar, manufacturing, etc, how do you deal with the boots causing light flair ups? Whenever I wear my safety toed boots, they always cause a light flair up. Just curious if any of you guys have this same experience.

Edit: my flair ups occur in my big toe joint incase anyone else have theirs in a different area.

So recently the Mexican president has sent lawyers to the US to do an intervention due to the recent ICE involved shootings of illegal Mexicans. If they go through with the lawsuit, couldn't the US counter due to the inflow of drugs that kill Americans every year? Not necessarily trying to piss anyone off, just trying to analyze it.
