Give your voids a little extra love and treats today. It's their day.

This picture seems like the opening intro to some spooky Stephen King movie...and u/Catdaddywhisper was never seen again 😳
Gannicus' father was a Maine Coon. Ivan was rescued from an unlicensed cattery breeding Russian Blues. Both are full sized, healthy boys. Despite not being full breed blood lines, both of these toms show distinct size differences inherited from their parents.
My son sent this over as the small kitty in the video looks like a tiny ginger in our kitty collection. The gingers reaction is priceless 🤣
There were supposed to be 3x more cats in this picture. They bolted when I pulled out my phone. 1/2 dozen cats in one picture isn't bad. 9 cats would've been better though.

At 18 months old, these sisters are our youngest permanent residents living in our sanctuary. Yeah, they have their own bedroom. Before anyone asks, I arrange the pillows like that because they seem to prefer that way.

Rode my bicycle past a box on a remote levee road, thought "that box was open, then taped back up...I have a bad feeling about this". Of course it contained abandoned animals. Knowing the the shelters were full I figured it was either leave them or foster. Registered as fosters with a local kitten rescue that took care of medical considerations while we housed them. Of course we fell in love with them. Signing adoption papers this weekend for Lady River and Lord Levee Eridanus of Brewerton.
This April we lost our last dog a year after we lost another dog, running completely out of dogs. Grateful for fate and the CDS right now. Def more dogs someday, but focusing on fully raising/enriching these siblings for now. Cheers to all you good Samaritan fosters!
EDIT: This blew up way harder than I expected, thanks for all the love! Some important questions got asked:
Who takes pics of a box before investigating? Totally valid. Had to tape up the box again so I could take a minute to be sad/freak out, also before shoving it in my camelbak straps as I thought kittens escaping while cycling at 18mph might pose safety hazards for all involved. Took a Pic after I re-secured the flaps.
Why take a Pic at all? I've found quite a few stray dogs in my neighborhood. Pics help when posting on lost pet pages, or adoption sites. Also, my wife was out of town so I reallllly wanted to communicate why she would be coming home to surprise fosters wven though she is used to me bringing home strays.
My typical morning greeting from left to right; Frida, Inky, Gannicus, Ivan (glowing eyes,) Morgana Lafeye (upside-down,) and Boogie walking away.
It's sometimes not easy being a ginger tabby im a black cat sanctuary. However they love me too and I love the treats 😋
Let your tongue hang out and you bean toes wiggle, it's Caturday!

Cappy was severely underweight and dehydrated when he first came into my feline sanctuary. Now he is fat and happy, living in a room full of senior females. The old ladies love him. He gently plays with every one of them and they adore him. He's a working cat and not on the active adoption list.
Someone sent this over to me. OMG I love cat's, too funny not to share.
The pictures and videos my family and friends send over to me are hilarious. I love kitties 😸 💕
A funny video sent over to me. Please make sure your kitties have clean water. Especially important during these hot months. Cats can get UTI's. Anyone who's had one can relate how painful they are.
My friend sent me this video. Cats make me smile and laugh 😃
Evie is an old momma cat and the first on only siamese in my sanctuary. The government shelters usually find homes for them. Unfortunately this old momma ran out of time when a vet tech called me. She lives happily forever, rent free in my no-kill feline sanctuary.
