This is the late "Dexter," rest his kitty soul. He's doing his job in Heaven, keeping the rodent population in check. My family has owned farms in CA before CA was a part of the United States. My family has always understood and appreciated the usefulness of working cats.

Feline rodent abatement is NOT animal cruelty, WTF? Anymore so than shooting a coyote or wolf trying to injure / hunt young livestock.

Gannicus is the largest kitty in this group. He's a very gentle alpha tom. Instead of throwing paws, he simply chirps loudly to request social distancing. He's a good kitty and we love him ❤️

Lulu, Evie and Morgana Lafeye are preparing for a long hard day of relaxing.

Perhaps intentional, but the kitty was guilt ridden afterwards and filled with remorse? Perhaps?

I have several "safe spots" here and there. Not that I can't access the kitty in their safe spot, I don't. It gives the kitties a sense of security that they a safe area they can retreat to.

These pair of windows are the popular area in this general population room. They're right next to the door and the kitties swarm to greet incoming hoomans.

Despite several black cats in the picture, I can easily name every cat in the picture. There are only 3x cats living in this area, missing from this picture; Sylvester, (tuxedo) Evie (Siamese) and Ivan (Russia blue)
