A friend sent me this video. The little ginger took the bites for awhile. It took a minute to click in the gingers head what was going on. Too cute 😍

Then and now. This is "Ashley Elizabeth Cromwell" or simply "Ash." I drove to my aunts house 2hrs away with my wife and one of our sanctuaries vet techs to find and rescue this kitten. We spent half a day trying to find and capture her. She was starving and severely dehydrated. After rehabilitating in my sanctuary, once she turned 3 months old, she was promptly adopted.

Her third birthday is right around the corner. She is thriving and living a happy life in a loving home. It fills me with happiness when I receive pictures of cats that once lived in my sanctuary. I love rescuing cats ❤️

This safe zone has easy access with two close shelves for coming and going. Best yet, hooman slaves can't reach kitties up here, they're completely safe.

It's nail trimming time and Amber and Ivan are one of the safe zones. True, I can get a step stool and grab them. However, I would never do that. They'll eventually come down and I'll trim their nails at that time. I always establish upper and lower safe zones where the kitties can retreat to. It's the kitties world and I am simply their loyal servant.
