Hello! (Actual question/advice at bottom)

Lore: This my oc Maku, he’s inspired by Makucha from the Lion Guard! In his freshman year he’s kind of a silly punk who likes to annoy the trouble maker students because he thinks they’re cool (this is for a past au- so no canon characters here.) He’s always talking crap and threatening fights, but backs out once the other people fights back. He’s strong but doesn’t know how to use his strength, he just works out for the ladies. He also tries hard to be evil, but he’s not very good at it. He mostly wants to be like his father, who is a POS. He was an accident baby between a pretty girl and a high rockstar, his father is known in the music business for his temper and catnip use. In his sophomore year he makes two new friends who end up being horrible influences on him. He gets detention, starts stealing, graffiti, and so on. Eventually he realizes that everyone he’s ever looked up to is a horrible person, and he breaks. In his junior year he becomes a very horrible person- anger, loud, basically like his father, and eventually this leads to an overblot, especially since I gave him a powerful spell to combat his silliness. His spell, Rock and Roll (temp name), gives him magically reinforced legs, giving him the ability to run fast, jump high, and climb. It also makes it so when he lands he’s able to crack the ground below. The only drawback is it’s temporary. Only running lets it last longer, but jumping makes it dissipate faster, meaning he has to recast many times to keep it for long. 

Actual overblot: After years of this, Crowley decides that Maku needs to be expelled, and Maku is not happy. He starts using his spell, trying to prove that he should still be in this school. He breaks ground, threatens Crowley, attacks people- people he eventually overblots.

Question/advice: His overblot is still a WIP, but how should I make it look more like an actual overblot? It’s not really giving OB to me and I don’t know how to fix it. Is it the colors maybe? Any advice would help!

Hello! Again I am browsing a bit, but I’m looking for someone who can draw my friends and I’s ocs in a similar pose to the dancing ones. They’re both men, and my friends oc is fairly muscular, so I would appreciate if you’re able to draw muscles. I would like color, but I’m open to it staying flat colors/shaded/not rendered since I know my budget isn’t the highest, I also just want some type of photo background, nothing drawn in. Their outfits can be simplified a bit as well since again I know my budget

I can also provide more character references as they both have non-ball room looks- I just didn’t want to add too many photos.

This is Adam Brennus, inspired by Prince John! Since Prince John and Scar are very similar people (lion, older brother they hate, wants to be king) I didn’t want Adam to be a copy of Leona, even if he’s for an AU 50 years in the past. So I decided with my friends that Adam isn’t royal, just incredibly rich, but he wants to be royal. He wants to marry a princess and become king, even if it doesn’t really make sense logically.

He’s a freshman in our Hearts dorm (luckily he doesn’t have to deal with Riddle lol) but he looked at the Housewarden uniform and decided he wanted to look like that too! Hence the inspiration while in his dorm. I’m also putting him in our drama club!

Adam himself has super high anxiety, and often has panic attacks that result in him hiding under a desk, sucking his thumb, and pulling on his ear until it goes raw. He also has an emotional support snake inspired by Sir. Hiss named Siff, but that one is my friend’s oc. Everyone thinks that Adam is abusive towards Siff, but in reality he just flails a lot and sometimes Siff happens to get in the way.

He’s also a total punk! Even singing in a rock band! He will eat everything in sight, so be warned!

Updated lore: In his sophomore year he makes a new friend who ends up being horrible influences on him, not to mention his ex transfers to his school. He still has feelings for her and she uses it against it. He gets detention, starts stealing, graffiti, and so on. Eventually he realizes that everyone he’s ever looked up to is a horrible person, and he breaks. In his junior year he becomes a very horrible person- anger, loud, basically like his father, and eventually this leads to an overblot, especially since I’m planning on giving him a very strong signature spell to combat the silliness of Maku.

How I picture his overblot happening: As a junior Maku is getting into fights, arguing with the teachers, and overall just getting in trouble. One day, in the courtyard, Maku ends up yelling at Crowley, maybe even threatening him, and in front of everyone Crowley has no choice but to threaten explosion/actually expel him, causing Maku to grow angrier. I picture Maku casting his spell and walking towards Crowley, leaving indents in the concrete as he walks. He uses his spell so much in a short period of time to fight back and run away, that it mixes with all the negative feelings of the past three years and he overblots.

I love Maku a lot, he’s one of my favorite ocs! I just really wanted to share him!

Bud is a hearts freshman inspired by the childlike flowers in Alice. He’s stuck up, a total mama’s boy, and always calls people weeds. He prefers plants, specifically flowers, to people and would rather sit alone than actually try to strike up conversation with someone.

Extra little info:

- His nickname is Bud, I haven’t thought of a funny name name yet.

- He knows a lot about flowers and is very protective of them, often criticizing the rose bushes around campus, even if they’re perfect

- He can sing, since the flowers have that whole flower song. I think he did traditional choir before attending school/over the summer, but I think he prefers other music. He just would never say that out loud. (I don’t know what kind of music he likes yet though)

- I don’t think he knows he’s being a brat, he just thinks he’s helping when he corrects people or comments on their appearance.
- Although that doesn’t stop the fact that he *is* a brat and definitely throws tantrums lol

- He didn’t have many friends growing up, so he would join his mother in the garden.

- He likes to sing and talk to plants.

- His UM should have something to do with plants

- He’s for a past AU with my friends, but if he was the main timeline he was totally the kid that threw the egg at Riddle.

Anyway meet Atticus! Inspired by Abigail Hardscrabble from Monsters University! The spinner wheel decided his fate was Ignihyde, so I decided that he’s a junior who tries his best to help out. He’s very intelligent, but purposefully got himself held back a year so he can keep helping the new first years. He’s calm and enjoys being alone, but he doesn’t fear social interactions. He tries to help around the dorm, tinkering with things and fixing appliances, but he also likes to help people study for tests or help his lower classmen friends with homework.

I’m not 100% sure what he is since Hardscrabble is a monster, but she had large wings and a weird tail/lower body so I played into it (even if it’s given demon rn- I’ll probably change that later)

For his UM I’m not fully settled, but I know I want to do something with fear/screaming since in the movie she held a scream record of sorts.

Overall I like him. I think he’s fun

(Don’t ask where he hides his wings btw- I haven’t figured out his logistics yet leave me alone lol)

TMNT has been my life long obsession, but a few months ago my friends got me into Twst. Naturally anytime I get into a new fandom, I put TMNT into it, so here’s the two drawings I’ve done so far!

Obviously the turtles can’t magic, but I like to put them in dorms anyway.

Leo: Hearts. I think he gets along well with most, if not all, of the hearts guys. He’s a really good rule follower and is always trying to better himself.

Donnie: Ignihyde for sure. The smarts, the tech, the social weirdness- he fits perfectly.

Raph: I put him in Savanaclaw because he has that drive, the strength too. I like to think him and Leona would bond over disliking their brothers.

Mikey: Hardest to place but I also say Savana, just because he’s like Ruggie.

Anyway yes hope you appreciate my art lol

So this is my oc Knave, and in his first art I was going for a card type feel (hence why he’s built like that) with lots of hair. I’m trying to make him a more ‘accurate’ type piece with his hair partially up partially down, but I can’t seem to figure out what his hair will do in the back. He has too much hair for all of it to be in the bun, but idk.

I really struggle with angles and such, but I’m trying to get out of my comfort zone a bit
