Good modlists with LotD v6: performance and difficulty scaling

Hi folks! I don't see anything in the past year or so asking about contrasting LOTD v6 lists, so here it is.

I'm looking for modlists that run fairly efficiently (ideally better than N__vus Ultra or Lorerim Ultra), has the latest LotD, and has options for keeping the combat interesting as I grow in power. I like and am open to power fantasy, though! And I can tolerate just bumping up the difficulty as I go along.

~

Possibilities I've seen so far:

There's the Elderteej list, looks great. Sounds pretty op in combat, but I'm down to try it if folks recommend. I'm trying to decide if it's on par with Lorerim Ultra, or better. I can run Lorerim "Default" fine.

Tomes of Talos is out there too. Don't know as much about this one, but would be interested in hearing if performance is a priority for the list. The trees don't quite vibe as well with me (love tree graphics, ha. Big dark green ones, or light coming through branches...), but would love to hear about it.

Tempus Maledictum I think is v6? Did folks enjoy the way that magic learning works there? And how is performance?

Thanks y'all.

TIL about a list of modlists for the modlist Gate to Sovngarde.

I've never seen anything like it! So many ways to modify an already modded game.

Credit to u/GenghisGame for the comment which introduced me to it.

I suppose it would require some creative effort to apply these to the wabbajack version, but I imagine it would be doable.

Debunk this: monkeys can be trapped with a nut inside a jar.

The idea is metaphorically rich: you can put a nut in a jar with a narrow aperture and the monkey will find the nut and stick their hand into the jar to grab the nut. They find that with their hand wrapped around the nut they cannot extract their hand from the jar so they stay stuck with their hand around the nut in the jar, unwilling to let go of their new treat.

I see this story over a lot of the internet and many people claim that it is true. I haven't seen anyone claim it isn't true but I also don't see any videos of a monkey being caught in this way. Nor have I yet found a reliable source of it being used to catch monkeys in the wild. Can we prove or disprove this story?

Any Fallout 4 Modlists that are melee combat friendly?

Because of recently released excellent mods that make gunplay punchy and with a low time-to-kill, I've been having trouble finding a good modlist for my favorite playstyle: melee combat. I wish I still had that old install of Magnum Opus! That was really fun.

Anyhow, any tips for either:
a) a modlist that doesn't make "running at gun-armed enemies with a baseball bat" as stupid as it would be in real life, or
b) tips for improving melee survival in existing Fallout 4 modlists that are still more heavily incentivized towards gunplay?

I love Lorerim, and am interested in possibly trying LoreOut, for example. But I just don't know if I would be able to use melee in a satisfying way.
