6 weeks in and loving it!

6 weeks in and loving it!

Just wanted to on and share as someone losing slowly and steadily on a micro-dose of compounded tirzepatide. I am a 35f who has been incredibly active all my adult life. I’ve been weightlifting for 14 years, participating in competitions, training for half marathons, all the while getting 12-22k steps every day in a very active job (personal record was 32k). I’ve been taking collagen and drinking electrolytes for close to a decade. I don’t drink or smoke and never have done either. I sleep 7-9 hours a night, have low stress, eat healthy foods, and even owned a macros-based meal prepping service as a private chef for 6 years. In fact I went in to culinary arts because I love food so much and just wanted to be around it all the time.
I literally never thought midlife weight gain would happen to me. I have done all the things consistently for as long as I’ve been an adult. I was able to use discipline and limit myself to going crazy only on planned cheat days.
As the years went by and intense hunger has slowly crept up on me. I was starving all the time and thinking about my next meal and the next days meals constantly. I have been trying to lose about 15 pounds for 2 years with absolutely zero luck when it was so easy in my 20’s. My weight was starting to come in on different places as well. I had never in my life had a belly pooch (I was back to my pre baby weight with my children when I left the hospital because I was so healthy and active in my pregnancies) and my love handles were just growing and growing. My waist totally disappeared. Nothing fit and I hated looking at myself naked.
When my mom saw success on tirz I had to give it a try. I started at 1.25 of ProRx tirz from gimme. It suppressed my appetite by the next day and the food noise is just totally gone. I know people say this a lot but I finally understand what it feels like to be a normal person. I feel energized, motivated and hopeful in all areas of my life. I only wish I would have started sooner. My side effects have been very mild and tolerable and even this small amount of medication is making a big difference to me.
I just wanted to share in case there is someone out there with a similar story. Or so that others can maybe let go of some guilt they may have around weight gain. I was doing everything right and I was doing it right for a long time. Idk what happened but weight gain and sneak up on anyone and I’m glad to find something to help me get it under control and make such a positive difference in my life.

Best place to order kwikpen

Looking for your favorite telehealth options to access and order a prescription for kwikpen. Just trying to get my ducks in a row if/when compounding is no longer available. Not interested in getting tirz the grey way.

Weird taste in mouth.

I have had this going on two days now. It’s not metallic, more like acidic. It’s gross gross gross and making eating a pain but also it lingers when I’m just sitting around doing nothing. I did titrate up this week (2 days ago) and this is the first I’ve experienced this. Anyone else? Does it go away?

Just want to give everyone a heads up. I knew this was a thing with pomegranate but it has happened to me with gimme too. My gimme patient portal still has my 4/17 order marked as “sent to pharmacy”, but my FedEx app has it marked as shipped and arriving today. Download the app if you haven’t yet and maybe you’ll have a surprise waiting too. Hope this helps!

I just started Tirz and am in LOVE!!! I have great energy, motivation, happy with weight loss, clear mind etc… I would keep taking it even if I wasn’t losing for all of the other positive things it’s doing. I am unwilling to try grey market at this time, but am interested in other peptides available through compound pharmacies, specialty for healing and injuries. I have a back injury I’ve been dealing with for years and as I get older, other things are starting to hurt but they all seem to come from the same back issue. I am totally oblivious to all peptides beyond Tirz and would like to know where to start with the particular issue. Thanks!

…and as soon as BPI was shut down I (kind of accidentally) ordered 3 3-month supplies from three different online providers. The three are Gimme, Fifty410, and Pomegranate. I was previously getting mine from ProRX and the first think I did was order the new Apothecary deal through Gimme. 8 days later and it’s still stuck at “sent to pharmacy”. Three days ago I ordered from Fifty410 (also Apothecary) because I was freaked out that Gimme wasn’t going to pull through. And just this morning a prescription was approved and I was charged for another 3 month supple through Pomegranate (Hallandale) after a week long approval process. I know have about $1300 in peptides coming my way, none of which have shipped, and much of which will probably go past BUD before I can use it. Has anyone has any luck canceling with any of these providers? I’d hate to cancel Gimme because that order had been processing the longest and hopefully be first to ship. I only have one shot left in my fridge due to be taken next Thursday. I freaked out and kind of regret it now. Tell me what to do!!
