Looking for single room

Hi everyone! I'm a 22F looking for a room to sublet/lease in NYC starting in October. I'll be working near Penn Station, but I'm open to living a bit farther out as long as the commute is reasonable (under 40 mins).

Budget: Under $1,800/month (I'm willing to be a little flexible for the right place!)

I'm looking for:

-In-unit or in-building washer/dryer

-Easy access to commuter-friendly subway/train lines

-Women-only apartment/house

-Non-smoking home and preferably no drinking in the apartment (I don't mind what you do outside the apartment!)

-No pets, please

-Roommates in their 20s to early 30s

A little about me: I'm clean and keep to myself. I sleep at reasonable hours due to my work schedule. I honestly don’t mind what my housemates do as long as everyone is respectful of each other and clean.

also for preference I would like to not go through a broker :)

If you know anyone who has a listing or think we’d be a good fit, please reach out! ☺️

for usc it would be around 60k a year but at davis it is free since i get a full ride off of financial aid. is it usc really worth the extra 60k jf im planning on law school as well?

ive heard a mix and ik that goa and lsat matter the most so does going to a school that will give me more outside opportunities (usc) rly matter?
