My story of discovering George Michael’s work

I’m 20 years old, and the first song I heard from him was “Careless Whisper,” and I heard it in 2018. My mom introduced me to him; my uncle adored him (especially the song “Jesus to a Child”). I admire George’s vocals — they’re so gentle and romantic. It’s hard for me to choose a favorite song of his, but I can say for sure that “Faith” and “Older” are his best albums. I even bought “Faith” to put on my shelf 😂

(19) ➡️ (20), мой путь, который начался 9 месяцев назад и продолжается до сих пор

https://www.reddit.com/r/stesnyashka/s/RpVPUEQzYL

(19) ➡️ (20), A journey that is still ongoing and has been for 9 months

9 months ago, my consciousness changed dramatically. During the coronavirus, I gained 30+ kilograms, and I didn't get out of bed for a year. I feel very, very ashamed about this. My heaviest weight was 164/98. After I recovered, I became 166/87. This marked the beginning of my journey filled with suffering. I shed so many tears, and it took me a long time to see any external changes, although there were improvements on the scale. I've been told all my life that I'm ugly, even when I was at a healthy weight, so from 8th grade to my first year of college, I didn't want to lose weight. At university, people started matchmaking me with a fellow student, saying that I should be grateful for the attention I receive because I'm ugly and will suffer from a lack of male attention for the rest of my life. As a result, I'm 166/62 in 9 months, but I'm still afraid to express my feelings openly, and I haven't been able to form meaningful relationships. Yes, my health has improved a lot, I have vasomotor rhinitis and bronchial hyperreactivity, but it hasn't completely gone away, and to be honest, none of the hormones have helped me. I'm still not satisfied with myself, and I'm trying to take photos, but I'm not very good at it. I haven't picked up a camera in 19 years, and I'm 20 now. I can say that I haven't achieved my main goal, as I'm still single, dissatisfied with myself, and feel like a failure. I don't know what to do, and I've even started exercising a little, because it's quite difficult with my health.

My gaming console collection

Nintendo DSi

This is my first console in general, my father gave it to me for my birthday. My first game on it is Super Mario 64 DS. One of the most beloved games to this day. A lot of hours were spent playing it.

Nintendo 3DS XL

This was my fourth Nintendo console. It was with her that I began to lose interest in Nintendo. After installing CFW, she had a second life and I began to play on her occasionally.

Nintendo Wii

It was the second console from Nintendo. The first game on it was Mario Kart Wii. This is actually my favorite part. How I adore Mario Galaxy, sports stimulants on it. It's a miracle console. My uncle gave it to me for the New Year.

Nintendo Wii U

The same Wii, but only better! It's a great station for emulating and running Wii games. In my opinion, one of the best consoles in history and one of the most underrated, unfortunately.

Xbox 360

It was my first non-Nintendo console. I saw this thing for the first time at a friend's house, played Grand Theft Auto V and was just shocked by the amount of content. At first, I tried to run this game on an old laptop, but without success, then on a slightly newer laptop, but it was running at 10 frames per second. Therefore, it was decided to buy an Xbox 360 for me for the New Year so that I could play the best game in the world. But the disk had to wait a little longer, so the first game there was Minecraft. In my opinion, the best version of Minecraft is on Xbox 360.

PlayStation 5

This console was purchased in order to play Grand Theft Auto VI. Also, my long—held dream came true - to complete the original trilogy with the PS3. Overall, it's a very good console, and what a gamepad! It's just a piece of art.

I also have an old PC (R5 2600X + RTX 2060 + 16GB), sometimes I play Sims on it. 😅

Probably not so bad, considering that I'm a twenty-year-old girl who doesn't even work, but only studies 😅

I really love my collection!

My collection of portable consoles

The Nintendo DSi is actually my first console, I was given it in 2011 for my 5th birthday. The Nintendo 3DS XL was presented at the release of this version, but for some reason I had less interest in it than in the old NDSi. I really love both of these consoles, they symbolize childhood for me.
