Color palette help

Free form ones mean new SBS from a shockwave. I've done a snake pattern before and it turned out okay, but I did a green and tan palette on it. I am having a hell of a time with these burt orange colors though. Thinking about using khaki base sand highlights warm caramel some coffee bean and maybe some red oxide primer maybe a splash of otter brown but suggestions are welcome and likely needed

Pps43c take down pin

I wanted to be able to separate the upper and lower portions of my pps43c and an HK G36 large take down pin is just about perfect. Removed the existing rivet, widened the hole just a touch and counter sunk one side.

I made new teeth

I broke a front tooth. Dentists are way too expensive and I fix and make all sorts of stuff. I spent some time reading and finding dental school lessons free online and 40 bucks later and a short while at the kitchen table and bam it was fixed. But I still had plenty of bonding agent, acid, and resin left so I got silly.... For the record, it is legal here to work on one's OWN teeth and all the stuff was legal to buy and made for the purpose I used it for.

They fit perfect since I used a flowable resin to shape as well as sanding bits. Eating and any activities really are unaffected, if anything tough jerky is much easier to tear off now.

It's been a few months now and all has held up perfectly.

Self reliant dental work.

The dentist is expensive, I fix stuff for a living, I fix all my own stuff around the house, and I don't have a pile of money. So when I got a tooth chipped the 200 consultation fee alone was too much to hand out. After some reading, dental school uploaded videos and about 40 bucks from medical supply sellers and I figured out how to fix it myself. Now full transparency... It went surprisingly well and fast and I had a lot of material left over so I got silly and added some... Embellishments...

*Where I am there is nothing illegal about doing dentistry on yourself, only to others and all purchased materials are legal and not controlled in anyway for individual sale by law*

Fixed a broken tooth... Then kept going....

I broke an incisor a few months back and was not about to pay the ungodly money for a dentist. I usually fix my own stuff since if I'm decent at one thing it's fixing stuff. I did some reading and some online ordering and for under 40 bucks got all the dental grade stuff needed. Fixed the chipped one and I felt like getting a little silly with it... They have held up for a few months now with no issue and getting through a tough piece of meat is a breeze now 🤣

PPS43-C questions

Some years ago I picked up a Pioneer PPS43-C and a torch cut parts kit for next to nothing. It has sat in a box for too long. With the 200 tax being dropped I have finally decided to SBR it and have submitted the form 1. Folding stock reactivation I have well understood but two other things I was thinking about doing I haven't figured out quite so much. 1. A 9mm barrel swap, I found barrels and pps43(c) specific ones but would I need to go ahead and get a new trunnion as well? Since the barrel presses in I assume for a few bucks it might be the best course of action to avoid damaging the original and not be able to reuse it. 2. The front pin that the upper and lower rotate on, somewhere someone has to have a detent style take down pin that would fit in that rivet spot nicely and boy would that make things nice when working on it to just fully separate the two halves without cutting pinning it each time. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Fetal alcohol syndrome

My wife of 15 years asked me to ask the Internet this and she supplied the photos to use. She's currently 33, Caucasian, 5ft7, 130lb, we're in eastern Virginia. She has no surviving relatives to ask and hasn't for many years. She's had a number of issues that we are leaning to mostly be related to an undiagnosed fetal alcohol syndrome disorder of some degree.

History, born term, around 10 lb. Mother became pregnant while on birth control, drank, smoked, and did various drugs throughout her life. Wife has discalcula, has anxiety and ADHD to a degree that she's never been able to drive or obtain a license, at 3 or 4 she was hospitalized for (as best as we've been able to discover) under developed ureter/kidney that caused her to be catheterized and she coded. She has a heart murmur, hormone intolerance, she has some physical characteristics such as a narrow upper lip and a very faint philtrum. She is essentially blind without glasses. We have t children, none of which share hardly any physical resemblance to her, none of her medical issues, and all have perfect vision. The revelation that FASD may be the culprit came to us as of late and just wanted some input from others. The images attached are some of the very few childhood photos of her that exist

Thank you for any information.

450 bushmaster

Asked about a selection of base colors last week. The majority agreed with what I thought I liked best so rattle cans went "shhheeeee".

25in single shot cut and crowned at 16.

Color palette help

Stencils cut and the guns prepped just can't decide on the color scheme. Going for a frog skin/duck camo pattern on a break action. These are my finalists. Really just gotta settle on the main color that will be the last coat.

In descending order the primary color is

  1. Deep grey

  2. Primer grey

  3. Khaki

  4. Sand
