One of my colleagues created an Entra ID user with umlauts in it. Because of that, windows has created a user profile folder with umlauts and this makes problems with different programs that cannot handle this. Is there a way to change the name of this user profile folder without broke Entra Join or registry keys that have some paths to this folder?

Has anyone built a Entra ID Profile Picture Sync Script gor macOS with platform SSO? I can find many scripts that are build for JAMF or other MDMs and i tried to changes some parts of it for Intune, but it didnt work. Has anyone a scripts thatbworks with Intune and Entra ID?

I configured my first android device today. For that, i used the OEMConfig from Honeywell (UEMConnect App). What i now see is, that some settings are not appyling. Some settings indicate that they only work for certain versions, but that wasn't the case for my settings. Is it still possible that some settings are incompatible?

Ich bin Sysadmin, kein Entwickler und der Überzeugung, dass das Quatsch ist. Er meinte, Code Review könne ja dann einfach ein zweiter Agent übernehmen. Ich halte nichts davon, Raketen zu bauen, die man nicht lenken kann. Wenn ein Entwickler Vide Codet.. ok, er versteht was er tut. Aber wenn der GF der von IT überhaupt keine Ahnung hat denkt, man kann alles prompten,.. davon halte ich nicht viel.

Eure Meinung dazu?

Ich von etwas mehr als einem Jahr als ITler in einem Unternehmen angefangen. Ich habe vieles umgebaut und ich werde noch viele Dokus ergänzen müssen. Ich stelle mir grad nur die Frage, wie ich das am besten organisiere. Wie macht ihr das? Soll das alles in eine Dokument, eine Art "Booklet"? Oder speichere ich die Dokumentationen da, wo die Files dazu liegen? Wie macht ihr das? Ich bin kein Entwickler, es geht vorallem um Sachen MDM, Intune, Scripts, Infrastruktur usw.

My question is, when should I use the utilities and when should I use the Toolbox? And what's the technical difference between the two? Doesn't the Toolbox modify the driver? I've setup the first zebra label printer for our ERP system this month. I invested about 10 hours to become it to a state that i can print a test page from our windows server. I needed a zebra supporter that configured the printer with a special tool that you need to study 3 years on a university for. Zebra printer utilitys doenst work properly. And i'm not done! Thats crazy.

What are your experiences with Zebra label printers?

I kicked of remote lock on a macOS device this morning. But intune shows multiple check-ins aftwr the initiated remote lock. Did i understand remote lock wrong? The device sould be blocked and the user should not get sign-in anymore.

Es ist sehr schwer, alle Bedingungen zu erfüllen, damit in Fall eines Vorfalls auch Geld fliesst und kein Regress stattfindet weil irgendeine Kleinigkeit nicht eingehalten wurde. Ist das Geld nicht besser in Prävention/Schulungen und Pentesting investiert?
