Does Death March ever get fun?

I'm on my 3rd or maybe 4th playthrough and decided to go with Death March for difficulty and it's just not fun. I get that more damage is a must, but the fact that damage against monsters isn't better like in some sort of lethal mode is really not good. I even got a mod that removes levels from the game to make sure all engagements are fair and it seems to have helped a bit, but still. I'm still in Velen, just met Keira, but I'm considering switching to B, S and T cause slapping hatching endriagas with my sword 20 times while they can kill me in two hits is not very fun, doesn't help that after I played Ghost of Tsushima and by comparison the combat here is starting to feel it's age.

What do Fabric modders use for modding?

I wanted to learn to mod for Fabric as It doesn't have a lot of mods on it that add the type of content I will attempt to add.

Realistically who would even get this ID besides her? Don? Ezra and Rodion both hide from their past behind masks.
