Fan since early days.
Only saw him once (Field Day, AMAZING)
I wonder what % of people who have the big box version never opened it and still have sealed.
And what % will keep theirs sealed this time round.
If I buy it I know I couldn’t bear to open it. It would go on its ow special shelf and make me smile every time I saw it.
I have the album on streaming and on minidisc. Both perfectly good for my listening and I really really don’t need vinyl copy for any practical reason. I kind of don’t believe most people who buy the big box will actually open it ( I know some here will say I’m wrong)
So it’s a lovely big art ornament which at least won’t depreciate in value.
I’m likely never playing the pic disc I got this year but it looks beautiful on the wall and I wouldn’t dream of playing the other valuable 12s I have . But I really really love having those minimal white sleeves and simple labels, no need to spoil them by playing .
Im lucky that I can afford a £96 ornament. Still a daft purchase really but all good fun.

Blue Monday

My first 707 . The blue is so stunning in the flesh. Shadow of an old sticker mark , but I got most of the old glue off. I have ordered a new sticker from Gerry but now undecided about putting it on . Opinions welcome.

2v usb cable ??

This thing came in a battered box but appears mint and unused.
Seller included a usb charger cable . It says DC2.0 . Any issues with using 2v in a 3v unit??

Docks

Just wanted to ask if there are any docks that are compatible for multiple models of player / recorder.
I have a few docks and it seems such a shame that they are very specific to their original machine.
Any that ( by design or by chance) fitted several models? Thanks

AFCO retro mini disco

Put a BT speaker inside the old transceiver . No practical value bu I find very pleasing.
